AGRIBEX 2025 : l’édition qui fait basculer l’agriculture dans l’avenir

AGRIBEX 2025 s’est imposé comme un salon charnière, une édition où l’énergie, l’innovation et la confiance ont éclaté au grand jour. Les 260 exposants comme les visiteurs 70.644 ont quitté Brussels Expo avec la sensation claire d’avoir assisté à un tournant majeur du secteur. Malgré une légère baisse de fréquentation – due surtout à une présence scolaire plus faible – la journée professionnelle a affiché une belle progression et les exposants ne s’y trompent pas : un quart de la surface 2027 est déjà réservé.

Un appui politique sans précédent

La présence conjointe des ministres régionaux de l’Agriculture, du Premier Ministre, du ministre néerlandais et d’un représentant de la Commission européenne a donné le ton : AGRIBEX est désormais une scène stratégique où se dessine l’avenir du secteur. Lors de l’ouverture officielle, le Premier Ministre Bart De Wever a salué le rôle déterminant des technologies présentées, moteur autant pour l’agriculture que pour l’économie dans son ensemble.

Les femmes, battantes et inspirantes

La Ladies’ Day a offert l’un des moments forts du salon. Les prises de parole de femmes entrepreneures agricoles ont fait souffler un vent d’inspiration et de détermination, confirmant leur rôle essentiel dans une agriculture plus moderne et plus durable. Cette journée a aussi lancé l’élection de l’Agribex Agro-Lady of the Year, tandis qu’une action solidaire originale a permis de soutenir Pink Ribbon.

L’innovation technologique au cœur de la transformation

Jamais les progrès n’avaient été aussi visibles : robotique, agriculture de précision, capteurs intelligents, automatisation… L’édition 2025 confirme que la modernisation du secteur n’est plus un horizon, mais une réalité. « Nous vivons une véritable restructuration du métier », souligne Tim Aerts, président d’Agribex.

Un élevage tourné vers l’avenir

Même sans concours, le monde de l’élevage a montré son dynamisme. Fournisseurs et éleveurs ont échangé autour de solutions concrètes pour réduire l’azote tout en renforçant la rentabilité. L’absence des concours – pilier historique du salon – s’est fait sentir, mais Fedagrim réaffirme sa volonté de les réintroduire.

La révolution silencieuse de la batterie

Dans le domaine des espaces verts, la transition électrique s’est affichée avec éclat : tondeuses professionnelles, outillages, transport utilitaire… Les machines à batterie, plus silencieuses et sans émissions, s’imposent désormais comme le nouveau standard, soutenues par une planification et une maintenance digitalisées. Le prochain rendez-vous est déjà fixé : Demo Groen, en juin 2026 à Puyenbroeck.

“Inspire & Connect” : promesse tenue

Les distributeurs ont présenté des machines et des concepts qui ont enthousiasmé le public professionnel. Les échanges, intenses et orientés business, laissent présager de nombreuses concrétisations dans les mois à venir.

Cette édition marque également la fin d’une ère : après 25 ans à la tête de Fedagrim, Michel Christiaens passe le relais à Isabelle Huyghe, qui prendra officiellement ses fonctions de CEO le 1er février.

Rendez-vous du 8 au 12 décembre 2027 pour une nouvelle édition qui promet déjà d’être exceptionnelle.

AGRIBEX 2025: The Edition That Propels Agriculture into the Future

AGRIBEX 2025 established itself as a pivotal trade fair, an edition where energy, innovation, and confidence shone brightly. The 260 exhibitors and 70,644 visitors left Brussels Expo with the distinct feeling of having witnessed a major turning point for the sector. Despite a slight decrease in attendance – primarily due to lower school participation – the trade day saw significant growth, and exhibitors are clearly aware of this: a quarter of the 2027 exhibition space is already booked.

Unprecedented Political Support

The joint presence of the regional Ministers of Agriculture, the Prime Minister, the Dutch Minister, and a representative of the European Commission set the tone: AGRIBEX is now a strategic platform where the future of the sector is being shaped. At the official opening, Prime Minister Bart De Wever praised the crucial role of the technologies presented, a driving force for both agriculture and the economy as a whole.

Women: Resilient and Inspiring

Ladies’ Day was one of the highlights of the trade fair. The speeches by women agricultural entrepreneurs provided a breath of fresh air and a sense of determination, confirming their essential role in a more modern and sustainable agriculture. This day also launched the election of the Agribex Agro-Lady of the Year, while an original fundraising initiative supported Pink Ribbon.

Technological Innovation at the Heart of Transformation

Never before has progress been so visible: robotics, precision agriculture, smart sensors, automation… The 2025 edition confirms that the modernization of the sector is no longer a horizon, but a reality. “We are experiencing a true restructuring of the industry,” emphasizes Tim Aerts, President of Agribex.

A Livestock Farming Industry Focused on the Future

Even without competitions, the livestock farming sector demonstrated its dynamism. Suppliers and farmers exchanged ideas on concrete solutions to reduce nitrogen use while increasing profitability. The absence of competitions – a historical pillar of the trade show – was felt, but Fedagrim reaffirms its commitment to bringing them back.

The Silent Battery Revolution

In the green spaces sector, the electric transition was showcased brilliantly: professional lawnmowers, tools, utility vehicles… Battery-powered machines, quieter and emission-free, are now establishing themselves as the new standard, supported by digitalized planning and maintenance. The next event is already scheduled: Demo Groen, in June 2026 in Puyenbroeck.

“Inspire & Connect”: Promise Kept

Distributors presented machines and concepts that thrilled the professional audience. The intense, business-oriented discussions suggest that many concrete results will be achieved in the coming months.

This edition also marks the end of an era: after 25 years at the helm of Fedagrim, Michel Christiaens is handing over the reins to Isabelle Huyghe, who will officially assume her role as CEO on February 1st.

AGRIBEX 2025 profileerde zich als een cruciale vakbeurs, een editie waar energie, innovatie en vertrouwen schitterden. De 260 exposanten en 70.644 bezoekers verlieten Brussels Expo met het onmiskenbare gevoel getuige te zijn geweest van een belangrijk keerpunt voor de sector. Ondanks een lichte daling van het aantal bezoekers – voornamelijk door een lagere deelname van scholen – kende de vakbeurs een aanzienlijke groei, en exposanten zijn zich daar duidelijk van bewust: een kwart van de beursvloeroppervlakte voor 2027 is al geboekt.

Ongekende politieke steun

De gezamenlijke aanwezigheid van de regionale ministers van Landbouw, de premier, de Nederlandse minister en een vertegenwoordiger van de Europese Commissie zette de toon: AGRIBEX is nu een strategisch platform waar de toekomst van de sector wordt vormgegeven. Tijdens de officiële opening prees premier Bart De Wever de cruciale rol van de gepresenteerde technologieën, een drijvende kracht voor zowel de landbouw als de economie als geheel.

Vrouwen: veerkrachtig en inspirerend

Ladies' Day was een van de hoogtepunten van de beurs. De toespraken van vrouwelijke agrarische ondernemers zorgden voor een frisse wind en een gevoel van vastberadenheid, waarmee ze hun essentiële rol in een modernere en duurzamere landbouw bevestigden. Deze dag was ook de start van de verkiezing van de Agribex Agro-Lady van het Jaar, terwijl een origineel fondsenwervingsinitiatief Pink Ribbon steunde.

Leveranciers en boeren wisselden ideeën uit over concrete oplossingen om het stikstofgebruik te verminderen en tegelijkertijd de winstgevendheid te verhogen. Het ontbreken van wedstrijden – een historische pijler van de vakbeurs – was voelbaar, maar Fedagrim bevestigt haar streven om ze terug te brengen.

De Stille Batterijrevolutie

In de sector van de groene ruimtes werd de elektrische transitie schitterend gepresenteerd: professionele grasmaaiers, gereedschappen, bedrijfsvoertuigen… Accu-aangedreven machines, stiller en emissievrij, vestigen zich nu als de nieuwe standaard, ondersteund door gedigitaliseerde planning en onderhoud. Het volgende evenement staat al gepland: Demo Groen, in juni 2026 in Puyenbroeck.

Distributeurs presenteerden machines en concepten die het professionele publiek in vervoering brachten. De intense, bedrijfsgerichte discussies suggereren dat er de komende maanden veel concrete resultaten zullen worden geboekt.

Deze editie markeert ook het einde van een tijdperk: na 25 jaar aan het roer van Fedagrim draagt ​​Michel Christiaens het stokje over aan Isabelle Huyghe, die op 1 februari officieel haar rol als CEO op zich neemt.
