  Le 5 octobre 2023 sera une date marquante pour JOSKIN. L'entreprise a accueilli le Roi Philippe et la Reine Mathilde sur son site historique de Soumagne, dans le cadre d'une visite officielle du couple royal en Province de Liège. Une visite que JOSKIN considère comme un grand honneur pour lui-même et ses collaborateurs, mais aussi comme le signe d'un réel intérêt pour les défis auxquels le monde agricole est confronté.

Cette visite royale a été perçue chez JOSKIN comme une reconnaissance de tout le travail accompli par la famille Joskin, l'entreprise devenue depuis un Groupe international, et surtout ses collaborateurs depuis sa création en 1968.

Accueillis comme il se doit par le Gouverneur de la Province de Liège, le Bourgmestre de Soumagne, le fondateur de l'entreprise Victor Joskin et son dernier petit-fils, qui ont offert à Sa Majesté la Reine un joli bouquet vert et jaune (!), les Souverains ont été puis présenté à toute la famille Joskin, y compris les beaux-enfants et les petits-enfants.

Au cours d'une brève table ronde, le Roi et la Reine ont discuté avec Victor Joskin, son épouse, ses 3 enfants et l'assistante de direction des défis auxquels l'entreprise et le monde agricole sont confrontés. Le couple royal a notamment porté une attention particulière au thème de la formation professionnelle et à la nécessité d'organiser un enseignement pratique en entreprise pour apprivoiser les technologies les plus modernes et motiver les apprenants.
Un vif intérêt pour la technologie

La véritable tournée a commencé par le département R&D de l'entreprise. De la conception d'une carte électronique à l'écriture du code, en passant par la conception d'une coque ergonomique et son impression 3D, le couple royal a découvert les différentes étapes d'un développement à travers l'exemple du joystick Isobus contrôlant les différentes fonctions d'un lisier. pétrolier.

Compte tenu du temps disponible, la visite s'est ensuite limitée aux zones dédiées à l'usinage, la découpe laser des tubes, le stockage automatisé, le soudage robotisé, la découpe laser des tôles d'acier, le pliage automatisé, la ligne de peinture et les lignes d'assemblage, pour aboutir à la zone d'essai finale pour les tonnes à lisier équipées d'outils d'épandage, fleuron historique de la marque JOSKIN.

Visiblement très intéressé par la technologie, le Roi prêtait une attention particulière à chaque détail et posait de nombreuses questions à ses interlocuteurs. Très sympathiques et pleins d'empathie, le Roi et la Reine, profondément soucieux de chacun quelles que soient leurs responsabilités, ont spontanément contacté plusieurs membres du personnel. En discutant avec eux avec une grande simplicité, ils se sont intéressés à leur parcours, à leurs rôles respectifs au sein de l'entreprise et à leur travail factuel.

Enfin, le Roi Philippe a pris place dans une cabine de tracteur pour tester le joystick Isobus présenté en début de visite. Rapidement instruit par le plus ancien collaborateur du Groupe JOSKIN, Marc Chapelier, le Roi a manipulé avec dextérité la rampe dorsale et la rampe d'épandage Pendislide PRO du X-Trem2 attelé au tracteur. Souriants, la Reine et les 400 collaborateurs belges de JOSKIN réunis pour acclamer les Souverains à la fin de leur visite se sont vite rendu compte que le système avait l'aval du Roi !

Avant leur départ, le couple royal a simplement accepté de poser avec le staff JOSKIN pour une photo de famille ; un geste à leur image, mais surtout un grand honneur, couronnant une rencontre prestigieuse qui restera à jamais gravée dans toutes les mémoires.

A visit that JOSKIN sees as a great honour for itself and its staff, but also as a sign of genuine interest in the challenges the agricultural world is facing.

This royal visit was seen at JOSKIN as a recognition of all the work accomplished by the Joskin family, the company, which has since grown into an international Group, and above all its staff since it was founded in 1968.

Welcomed as it should by the Governor of the Province of Liège, the Mayor of Soumagne, the company founder Victor Joskin and his last grandson, who presented Her Majesty the Queen with a pretty green-and-yellow bouquet (!), the Sovereigns were then introduced to the entire Joskin family, including children-in-law and grandchildren.

During a brief round-table discussion, the King and Queen spoke with Victor Joskin, his wife, his 3 children and the management assistant about the challenges both the company and the agricultural world are facing. In particular, the royal couple paid close attention to the theme of vocational training and the need to organise a practical in-company teaching to tame the most modern technologies and motivate learners.
A Keen Interest in Technology

The proper tour began with the company's R&D department. From the design of an electronic board to the writing of the code, via the design of an ergonomic shell and its 3D printing, the royal couple discovered the different stages of a development through the example of the Isobus joystick controlling the different functions of a slurry tanker.

Given the time available, the tour was then limited to the areas dedicated to the machining, laser tube cutting, automated storage, robot-welding, steel sheet laser cutting, automated bending, paint line and assembly lines, culminating in the final test area for the slurry tankers equipped with spreading implements, JOSKIN brand’s historic flagship.

Clearly very interested in technology, the King paid close attention to every detail and asked his interlocutors many questions. Very friendly and full of empathy, the King and Queen, who cared deeply for everyone whatever their responsibilities, spontaneously approached several members of staff. Chatting with them with great simplicity, they were interested in their backgrounds, their respective roles within the company and their factual work.

Finally, King Philippe took place in a tractor cab to test the Isobus joystick presented at the beginning of the visit. Quickly instructed by the JOSKIN Group's longest-serving employee, Marc Chapelier, the King dexterously manipulated the dorsal boom and the Pendislide PRO spreading boom of the X-Trem2 hitched to the tractor. Smiling, the Queen and the 400 Belgian JOSKIN staff members who had gathered to cheer the Sovereigns at the end of their visit soon realised that the system had the King's approval!

Prior to their departure, the royal couple simply agreed to pose with the JOSKIN staff for a family photo; a gesture reflecting their image, but above all a great honour, crowning a prestigious encounter that will forever be engraved in everyone's minds.

Het bedrijf verwelkomde koning Filip en koningin Mathilde op haar historische locatie in Soumagne, als onderdeel van een officieel bezoek van het koninklijk paar aan de provincie Luik. Een bezoek dat JOSKIN beschouwt als een grote eer voor zichzelf en zijn personeel, maar ook als een teken van oprechte interesse in de uitdagingen waarmee de landbouwwereld wordt geconfronteerd.

Dit koninklijk bezoek bij JOSKIN werd gezien als een erkenning van al het werk dat werd verricht door de familie Joskin, het bedrijf dat sindsdien is uitgegroeid tot een internationale groep, en vooral door haar personeel sinds de oprichting in 1968.

De eigenlijke rondleiding begon bij de R&D-afdeling van het bedrijf. Snel geïnstrueerd door de langst dienstdoende werknemer van de JOSKIN Groep, Marc Chapelier, manipuleerde de Koning behendig de dorsale giek en de Pendislide PRO verspreidingsboom van de X-Trem2 die aan de tractor was gekoppeld. Glimlachend beseften de Koningin en de 400 Belgische JOSKIN-stafleden die zich hadden verzameld om de Vorsten aan het einde van hun bezoek toe te juichen al snel dat het systeem de goedkeuring van de Koning had!
