BOMAG RS 650-2: Power and Precision for Road Recycling

Image-BOMAG
With the new RS 650-2, BOMAG is revolutionizing road resurfacing and soil stabilization. Features include a redesigned cab, enhanced all-around visibility, and technology engineered to boost productivity on the most demanding job sites.
Operator comfort is a key driver of performance. The soundproofed cab features an air-suspension seat, while the operator's station slides across its entire width and pivots 45° to either side. The entire unit can also be raised for improved visibility or lowered to approximately 3.10 meters for easier transport.
At the heart of this new ergonomic design is a 7-inch color touchscreen that centralizes key rotor settings, working depth, water and emulsion injection, and diagnostics. Two 10-inch monitors complete the system, providing 360° camera coverage and precise monitoring of the milling and mixing area.
Beneath this technology lies an impressive piece of engineering: a 480 kW (653 hp) eight-cylinder engine, coupled with 4x4 all-wheel drive and traction control. Its articulated chassis, rear-steering axle, and four steering modes facilitate maneuvering in tight spaces, while axle oscillation improves ground contact and traction.
The hydrostatically driven rotor adapts its speed between 104 and 140 rpm depending on site conditions. Overload protection absorbs shocks in case of an obstacle, minimizing the risk of damage and downtime.
Roads, highways, airports, industrial platforms, or major stabilization projects: the RS 650-2 aims to combine power, precision, and cost-effective operation.
With this new generation, BOMAG places intelligent controls, safety, and mechanical endurance at the heart of modern road recycling.

BOMAG RS 650-2: Kracht en precisie voor wegverharding

Image-BOMAG
