Au Royaume-Uni, Brandon Hire Station franchit une nouvelle étape

dans sa transition énergétique en investissant de manière significative dans la solution d’alimentation autonome développée par Instagrid : la GO RAIL.

Cette décision stratégique fait suite au lancement d’un bloc batterie spécialement conçu pour répondre aux exigences du réseau ferroviaire britannique. Pensée pour le terrain, la GO RAIL se distingue par sa couleur haute visibilité et ses deux poignées robustes, permettant à deux opérateurs de la transporter facilement, même dans les conditions exigeantes des chantiers ferroviaires.

Avec un poids de seulement 21 kg, l’unité délivre jusqu’à 18 kW de puissance de pointe et offre une capacité de 2,1 kWh — suffisamment pour alimenter efficacement des outils électroportatifs. Elle est appelée à remplacer les petits générateurs thermiques, souvent bruyants et polluants, par une alternative plus propre et plus sûre.

Ces batteries portables permettront aux entrepreneurs ferroviaires d’intervenir plus efficacement lors des travaux nocturnes, dans les zones sensibles au bruit ou encore dans des espaces confinés — tunnels et environnements soumis à des contraintes strictes en matière d’émissions — où les générateurs traditionnels montrent rapidement leurs limites.

in its energy transition by investing significantly in the autonomous power solution developed by Instagrid: the GO RAIL.

This strategic decision follows the launch of a battery pack specifically designed to meet the demands of the British rail network. Built for the field, the GO RAIL features a high-visibility color and two robust handles, allowing two operators to easily carry it, even in the demanding conditions of railway construction sites.

Weighing just 21 kg, the unit delivers up to 18 kW of peak power and offers a capacity of 2.1 kWh—enough to efficiently power portable power tools. It is poised to replace small, often noisy and polluting, internal combustion generators with a cleaner and safer alternative.

These portable batteries will allow railway contractors to work more effectively during nighttime operations, in noise-sensitive areas, or in confined spaces—tunnels and environments subject to strict emissions regulations—where traditional generators quickly reach their limits.

In het Verenigd Koninkrijk zet Brandon Hire Station een volgende stap

in de energietransitie door fors te investeren in de autonome stroomvoorzieningsoplossing van Instagrid: de GO RAIL.

Deze strategische beslissing volgt op de lancering van een accupakket dat specifiek is ontworpen om te voldoen aan de eisen van het Britse spoorwegnet. De GO RAIL is gebouwd voor gebruik in het veld en heeft een opvallende kleur en twee robuuste handgrepen, waardoor twee operators hem gemakkelijk kunnen dragen, zelfs onder de veeleisende omstandigheden van spoorwegbouwplaatsen.

Met een gewicht van slechts 21 kg levert de unit een piekvermogen tot 18 kW en een capaciteit van 2,1 kWh – voldoende om draagbaar elektrisch gereedschap efficiënt van stroom te voorzien. Het is de bedoeling dat de GO RAIL kleine, vaak lawaaierige en vervuilende verbrandingsgeneratoren vervangt door een schoner en veiliger alternatief.

Deze draagbare accu's stellen spoorwegaannemers in staat om effectiever te werken tijdens nachtelijke werkzaamheden, in geluidsgevoelige gebieden of in besloten ruimtes – tunnels en omgevingen met strenge emissievoorschriften – waar traditionele generatoren snel hun limiet bereiken.
