CNH Industrial, la société mère de Case, a annoncé qu'à partir du 31 décembre 2022, elle cesserait toutes les ventes d'équipements de construction en Chine.

Au cours de l'année 2021, les ventes de matériel de construction en Chine ont totalisé environ 88 millions de dollars US pour Case. La Chine est le plus grand marché mondial pour les ventes d'équipements de construction.

CNH Industrial a déclaré qu'il ne s'attend pas à encourir de frais importants liés à l'arrêt de ses activités de vente d'équipements de construction en Chine.

La société a déclaré que la décision faisait partie de son "plan de redressement en cours pour son activité mondiale de construction".

Malgré la décision, CNH a déclaré qu'il restait "pleinement engagé envers ses clients et ses revendeurs en Chine" et qu'il "continuerait à soutenir le parc existant de machines Case Construction".

CNH Industrial produit d'autres équipements, notamment pour le secteur agricole. Cette décision n'affectera aucune zone en dehors de la construction.

Dans le dernier Yellow Table, le classement d'International Construction des plus grands équipementiers mondiaux en termes de ventes, CNH Industrial a été classé numéro 21 avec des ventes de 3,08 milliards de dollars américains.

Case to stop construction sales in China

CNH Industrial, the parent company of Case, has announced that from December 31, 2022, it will cease all sales of construction equipment in China.

In the course of 2021, sales of construction equipment in China totalled approximately US$88 million for Case. China is the world’s largest market for construction equipment sales.

CNH Industrial has said that it does not expect to incur significant charges in connection with the cessation of its construction equipment sales activities in China.

The company said that the decision was part of its, “ongoing turnaround plan for its global Construction business.”

Despite the decision CNH said it remained “fully committed to its customers and dealers in China” and that it would “continue to support the existing fleet of Case Construction machines.”

CNH Industrial produce other equipment, such as for the agriculture sector. This decision will not affect any areas outside of construction.

In the latest Yellow Table, International Construction’s ranking of the world’s largest OEMs according to sales, CNH Industrial were ranked number 21 with sales of US$3.08 billion.

CNH were approached for comment but said that there was no additional information to give.

In de loop van 2021 bedroeg de verkoop van bouwmachines in China voor Case in totaal ongeveer 88 miljoen dollar. China is 's werelds grootste markt voor de verkoop van bouwmachines.
