La Caterpillar Foundation vient d’inscrire une page mémorable de son histoire : plus d’un milliard de dollars ont désormais été investis, au fil des décennies, pour améliorer les conditions de vie et bâtir des communautés plus fortes, durables et résilientes à travers le globe.

Fondée en 1952, la Caterpillar Foundation a vu le jour avec un premier don destiné à une caserne de pompiers à East Peoria, dans l’Illinois. Ce geste inaugural fut le point de départ d’un élan philanthropique qui, au fil du temps, s’est transformé en une mission planétaire. Aujourd’hui, plus de 11 000 organisations communautaires réparties dans 110 pays et sur six continents ont bénéficié de ce soutien.
