In de discrete wereld van generatorsets vindt een strategische verschuiving plaats. Caterpillar heeft zojuist aangekondigd dat het de Olympian-generatorsets in Noord-Amerika zal gaan verkopen en rechtstreeks zal onderhouden.

Het assortiment, ontwikkeld onder de vlag van Caterpillar, omvat vermogens van 20 tot 200 kW en is ontworpen voor noodstroom-, vraagrespons- en primaire stroomvoorzieningstoepassingen. Het zijn compacte machines, maar essentieel overal waar stroomuitval onacceptabel is.
