Atlas Copco a annoncé l'achat de la société espagnole Climorent, une société qui loue des équipements de refroidissement industriels. Aucun prix d'achat n'a été divulgué.

Basée en Catalogne, l'entreprise est au service de l'industrie générale, y compris les secteurs de la chimie, de l'alimentation et des boissons.

Atlas Copco annonce que l'entreprise, qui compte 15 employés et a généré un chiffre d'affaires de 2 millions d'euros l'an dernier, sera ajoutée à sa division de location spécialisée au sein du secteur d'activité Power Technique

Andrew Walker, président de Power Technique, a déclaré : « Le changement climatique alimente la demande croissante de solutions de refroidissement efficaces dans les applications industrielles et autres.

« Climor a une forte empreinte locale dans les solutions de refroidissement industriel de location et a un potentiel de croissance supplémentaire. »

L'ajout à sa division spécialisée est le dernier en date d'Atlas Copco cette année. En juin, elle a acquis National Pump & Energy (NPE), une importante entreprise de location et de vente de pompes, d'électricité et de compresseurs en Australie et en Nouvelle-Zélande.

Climate control renter acquired by Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco has announced the purchase of Spain-based Climorent, a company that rents industrial cooling equipment. No purchase price has been disclosed.

Headquartered in Catalonia, the company serves general industry, including chemical and food and beverage sectors.

Atlas Copco says the company, which has 15 employees and generated revenues of €2 million last year, will be added to its specialty rental division within the Power Technique business area

Andrew Walker, president of Power Technique, said, “Climate change is fueling increased demand for efficient cooling solutions in industrial and other applications.

“Climorent has a strong local footprint within rental industrial cooling solutions and has potential for further growth.”

The addition to its specialty division is the latest to be made by Atlas Copco this year. In June it acquired National Pump & Energy (NPE), a major pump, power and compressor rental and sales business in Australia and New Zealand.

Atlas Copco heeft de aankoop aangekondigd van het in Spanje gevestigde Clirent, een bedrijf dat industriële koelapparatuur verhuurt. Er is geen aankoopprijs bekendgemaakt.

Het bedrijf heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Catalonië en bedient de algemene industrie, waaronder de chemische en voedingsmiddelen- en drankensector.

Atlas Copco zegt dat het bedrijf, dat 15 werknemers heeft en vorig jaar een omzet van € 2 miljoen genereerde, zal worden toegevoegd aan zijn gespecialiseerde verhuurdivisie binnen de business area Power Technique

Andrew Walker, president van Power Technique, zei: “Klimaatverandering zorgt voor een toenemende vraag naar efficiënte koeloplossingen in industriële en andere toepassingen.

"Clirent heeft een sterke lokale voetafdruk op het gebied van verhuur van industriële koeloplossingen en heeft potentieel voor verdere groei."

De toevoeging aan de specialty-divisie is de laatste die Atlas Copco dit jaar heeft gemaakt. In juni verwierf het National Pump & Energy (NPE), een groot verhuur- en verkoopbedrijf van pompen, stroom en compressoren in Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland.
