Le blog Roadshow est un mélange de carnets de voyage, d'informations utiles sur les pays pour les entreprises de transport et d'informations sur les dernières tendances et technologies.

Un camion d'exposition de Continental est sur la route depuis près d'un an maintenant, présentant le ContiEuropeanRoadshow aux partenaires et clients de tout le continent. La tournée emmène l’équipe du fabricant de pneus dans plus de 30 pays, parcourant ainsi une distance de plus de 50 000 kilomètres (environ 31 000 miles). L’entreprise technologique présente des idées innovantes pour un transport efficace et respectueux de l’environnement dans le monde de demain lors d’événements clients, de salons et de rencontres industrielles, comme le Grand Prix ADAC Truck au Nürburgring. Après une pause hivernale, le roadshow entame désormais sa deuxième étape.

En mars 2024, le camion d'exposition Continental visitera les Pays-Bas, où son itinéraire comprend des arrêts chez le partenaire commercial Volvo. Ici, les visiteurs peuvent s'attendre à des informations actualisées, des conférences et des tables rondes sur les questions clés affectant leur entreprise. Cela grâce à l'exposition interactive à bord de la bande-annonce couvrant cinq thèmes : la réduction des coûts d'exploitation grâce à l'approche conseil LODC, les pneus spéciaux pour camionnettes, les pneus pour véhicules utilitaires de cinquième génération, les solutions numériques pour la gestion des pneus et de la flotte, ainsi que les solutions pour accroître l’efficacité énergétique et la durabilité, comme les pneus rechapés. « Nous exposons des produits et services conçus pour aider nos clients de flottes à relever les énormes défis auxquels le secteur est confronté », déclare Tansu Isik, responsable des solutions de flotte EMEA chez Continental Tires, dont les responsabilités incluent le ContiEuropeanRoadshow. La première année du roadshow a reçu un accueil toujours positif : « Nos clients et nos collègues des marchés apprécient que nous nous adressions directement à eux », explique Isik. « Le camion-spectacle accueille des rencontres et des rencontres incroyablement diversifiées et enrichissantes. Nous offrons ici une plateforme unique pour discuter des questions cruciales que se posent les entreprises de transport, les revendeurs de pneus et les constructeurs automobiles.

Une autre personne enthousiasmée par le roadshow est Ronny Nittmann, le chauffeur de camion professionnel chargé de guider en toute sécurité le puissant tracteur avec sa précieuse remorque vers chacune des destinations en cours de route. En 2023, il a déjà parcouru plus de 20 000 kilomètres à travers douze pays au total, au cours desquels il a voyagé pendant 14 semaines – en commençant par la région baltique et en Pologne, en passant par la Scandinavie et pour finir en Dinde. « J'ai rencontré tellement de gens sympathiques et intéressants. En collaboration avec l'équipe de Continental, nous avons réussi à résoudre tous les problèmes en cours de route », déclare Nittmann. Il compile un compte rendu authentique et actualisé de ses expériences – avec une touche d'humour occasionnelle – sur le blog Continental Roadshow. Le fabricant de pneumatiques utilise également ce blog d'entreprise multilingue pour fournir de nombreuses informations sur les tendances technologiques et le secteur logistique dans les différents pays.

Le programme du ContiEuropeanRoadshow 2024 vous réserve certainement de nombreuses autres histoires et rencontres passionnantes. Après Pâques, elle se déplace vers l'Espagne et le Portugal avant de se poursuivre en Italie, en Autriche et en Suisse en mai. Cela sera suivi par des arrêts en France, en Tchéquie et en Slovaquie avant que le camion d'exposition ne fasse à nouveau escale au Grand Prix ADAC Truck au Nürburgring, qui se tiendra cette fois du 11 au 14 juillet. À l'automne, la tournée se dirigera vers le sud-est de l'Europe, en passant par la Roumanie, la Hongrie, la Bulgarie, la Bosnie-Herzégovine, la Croatie, la Serbie et la Slovénie. The ContiEuropeanRoadshow’s interactive exhibition brings tire solutions for trucks, buses and vans directly to the customer

Itinerary takes in another 17 countries in 2024

Roadshow blog is a blend of travel log, useful information about countries for haulage companies and insights into the latest trends and technologies

A show truck from Continental has been on the road for nearly a year now, bringing the ContiEuropeanRoadshow to partners and customers throughout the continent. The tour is taking the tire manufacturer’s team to more than 30 countries, covering a distance of over 50,000 kilometers (approx. 31,000 miles) in the process. The technology company is showcasing innovative ideas for efficient, eco-friendly transportation in tomorrow’s world at customer events, trade fairs and industry get-togethers, such as the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. Following a winter break, the roadshow is now embarking on its second leg.

In March 2024, the Continental show truck is visiting the Netherlands, where its itinerary includes stops at business partner Volvo. Here, visitors can look forward to up-to-the-minute information, talks and roundtable discussions on key issues affecting their business. This is thanks to the interactive exhibition on board the show trailer covering five themes: lowering operating costs with the LODC consultancy approach, special tires for vans, fifth-generation commercial vehicle tires, digital solutions for tire and fleet management, as well as solutions for increasing fuel efficiency and sustainability, such as retreaded tires. “We are exhibiting products and services that are designed to help our fleet customers tackle the enormous challenges facing the industry,” says Tansu Isik, Head of Fleet Solutions EMEA at Continental Tires, whose responsibilities include the ContiEuropeanRoadshow. The first year of the roadshow enjoyed a consistently positive response: “Both our customers and colleagues in the markets appreciate us going directly to them,” explains Isik. “The show truck plays host to an incredibly diverse and beneficial range of meetings and encounters. Here, we are providing a unique platform for discussing the crucial questions that haulage companies, tire dealers and vehicle manufacturers are asking themselves.”

Another person thrilled by the roadshow is Ronny Nittmann, the professional truck driver responsible for safely guiding the powerful tractor unit with its valuable trailer to each of the destinations en route. In 2023, he already clocked up over 20,000 kilometers (approx. 12,500 miles) across a total of twelve countries, during which time he was on the road for 14 weeks – starting in the Baltic region and Poland, continuing through Scandinavia and finishing up in Turkey. “I met so many friendly and interesting people. Together with the team from Continental, we managed to solve all the problems along the way,” says Nittmann. He compiles a genuine, up-to-the-minute report of his experiences – with the occasional twist of humor – in the Continental roadshow blog. The tire manufacturer also uses this multilingual corporate blog to provide a wealth of information on technological trends and the logistics industry in the various countries.

The ContiEuropeanRoadshow schedule for 2024 is sure to hold plenty more exciting stories and encounters in store. After Easter, it moves on to Spain and Portugal before continuing to Italy, Austria and Switzerland in May. This will be followed by stops in France, Czechia and Slovakia before the show truck once again calls in at the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, this time being held on July 11–14. In the fall, the roadshow will head toward southeastern Europe, passing through Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. Visitors to the industry’s two main trade fairs in Germany – Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main (September 10-14) and IAA Transportation in Hanover (September 17-22) – will also have a chance to experience the ContiEuropeanRoadshow.

Continental Show Truck begint aan de tweede etappe van zijn Europese tournee

De interactieve tentoonstelling van ContiEuropeanRoadshow brengt bandenoplossingen voor vrachtwagens, bussen en bestelwagens rechtstreeks naar de klant

Het reisplan omvat in 2024 nog eens 17 landen

Een showtruck van Continental is nu bijna een jaar onderweg en brengt de ContiEuropeanRoadshow naar partners en klanten over het hele continent. De tour neemt het team van de bandenfabrikant mee naar meer dan 30 landen, waarbij een afstand van meer dan 50.000 kilometer (ongeveer 31.000 mijl) wordt afgelegd. Het technologiebedrijf presenteert innovatieve ideeën voor efficiënt, milieuvriendelijk transport in de wereld van morgen op klantevenementen, beurzen en branchebijeenkomsten, zoals de ADAC Truck Grand Prix op de Nürburgring. Na een winterstop begint de roadshow nu aan zijn tweede etappe.

In maart 2024 bezoekt de Continental-showtruck Nederland, waar onderweg stops zijn bij zakenpartner Volvo. Hier kunnen bezoekers zich verheugen op actuele informatie, lezingen en rondetafelgesprekken over belangrijke kwesties die van invloed zijn op hun bedrijf. Dit is te danken aan de interactieve tentoonstelling aan boord van de showtrailer waarin vijf thema’s aan bod komen: het verlagen van de bedrijfskosten met de LODC-adviesaanpak, speciale banden voor bestelwagens, vijfde generatie bedrijfswagenbanden, digitale oplossingen voor banden- en wagenparkbeheer en oplossingen voor het verhogen van de brandstofefficiëntie en duurzaamheid, zoals vernieuwde banden. “We stellen producten en diensten tentoon die zijn ontworpen om onze wagenparkklanten te helpen de enorme uitdagingen aan te pakken waarmee de sector wordt geconfronteerd”, zegt Tansu Isik, hoofd Fleet Solutions EMEA bij Continental Tyres, wiens verantwoordelijkheden onder meer de ContiEuropeanRoadshow zijn. Het eerste jaar van de roadshow kreeg steeds positieve reacties: “Zowel onze klanten als collega’s op de markt waarderen het dat we rechtstreeks naar hen toe gaan”, legt Isik uit. “De showtruck biedt onderdak aan een ongelooflijk divers en nuttig aanbod aan bijeenkomsten en ontmoetingen. Hier bieden we een uniek platform voor het bespreken van de cruciale vragen die transportbedrijven, bandendealers en autofabrikanten zichzelf stellen.”

Een andere persoon die enthousiast is over de roadshow is Ronny Nittmann, de professionele vrachtwagenchauffeur die verantwoordelijk is voor het veilig begeleiden van de krachtige trekker met zijn waardevolle aanhanger naar elk van de bestemmingen onderweg. In 2023 heeft hij al ruim 20.000 kilometer afgelegd door in totaal twaalf landen, gedurende welke tijd hij veertien weken onderweg was – beginnend in de Baltische regio en Polen, via Scandinavië en eindigend in Kalkoen. “Ik heb zoveel vriendelijke en interessante mensen ontmoet. Samen met het team van Continental zijn we erin geslaagd alle problemen onderweg op te lossen”, zegt Nittmann. Op de Continental roadshow blog stelt hij een authentiek, actueel verslag van zijn ervaringen samen – met af en toe een vleugje humor. De bandenfabrikant gebruikt dit meertalige bedrijfsblog ook om een schat aan informatie te bieden over technologische trends en de logistieke sector in de verschillende landen.

Het ContiEuropean Roadshow-programma voor 2024 zal zeker nog veel meer spannende verhalen en ontmoetingen in petto hebben. Na Pasen gaat het verder naar Spanje en Portugal voordat het in mei verder gaat naar Italië, Oostenrijk en Zwitserland. Dit wordt gevolgd door stops in Frankrijk, Tsjechië en Slowakije voordat de showtruck opnieuw aandoet bij de ADAC Truck Grand Prix op de Nürburgring, dit keer van 11 tot en met 14 juli. In het najaar zal de roadshow richting Zuidoost-Europa gaan, via Roemenië, Hongarije, Bulgarije, Bosnië en Herzegovina, Kroatië, Servië en Slovenië. Bezoekers van de twee belangrijkste handelsbeurzen in Duitsland – Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main (10-14 september) en IAA Transportation in Hannover (17-22 september) – krijgen ook de kans om de ContiEuropean Roadshow te ervaren.
