Roulers, 19 août 2025 – Une nouvelle ère s’ouvre pour le transport durable en Belgique. Le prestataire logistique EUTRACO a officiellement réceptionné ce jour ses quatre premiers camions électriques Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, prélude à une flotte impressionnante de cinquante véhicules commandés. La remise symbolique des clés s’est déroulée sur le site de Ghistelinck Autobedrijven, en présence de Serge Gregoir, CEO d’EUTRACO.

Avec cet investissement majeur, l’entreprise franchit un cap déterminant dans la concrétisation de son ambition : atteindre un transport totalement zéro émission à l’horizon 2035.

« Nous n’investissons pas dans les e-trucks uniquement parce que nos clients nous le demandent, mais parce que nous voulons leur offrir la solution logistique la plus durable qui soit », déclare Serge Gregoir. « Avec une autonomie de 500 kilomètres, une planification de recharge optimisée et une infrastructure installée sur nos propres sites, l’eActros 600 s’intègre naturellement à nos opérations quotidiennes. »

La durabilité comme moteur d’innovation

Pour EUTRACO, l’énergie et les émissions ne sont pas de simples variables d’exploitation : elles constituent désormais un axe stratégique de développement. L’électrification de la flotte s’accompagne ainsi d’investissements dans des panneaux solaires, systèmes de stockage par batteries et solutions intelligentes de gestion de l’énergie. Les bornes de recharge pour camions électriques sont déjà en cours de déploiement sur les campus logistiques de Roulers, Gand et Willebroek.

« La durabilité ne doit pas être perçue comme une contrainte financière », insiste Gregoir. « Grâce à la technologie et à des choix judicieux, il est possible d’allier performance et responsabilité, sans faire peser le coût initial sur nos clients. »

Un partenariat solide avec Ghistelinck et Daimler Truck

Ce projet n’aurait pu voir le jour sans une collaboration étroite avec Ghistelinck Autobedrijven et Daimler Truck Belgium. Ensemble, les partenaires ont défini les conditions opérationnelles, financières et techniques pour intégrer ces nouveaux véhicules dans la flotte existante. Les premiers itinéraires sélectionnés concernent la distribution régionale et les trajets fixes à forte valeur ajoutée pour les clients.

La livraison progressive des eActros 600 sera assurée par Ghistelinck Autobedrijven, qui garantira également le service et l’assistance technique. Quant au financement, il a été rendu possible par Daimler Truck Financial Services Belgium à travers sa formule eService Leasing, une solution souple et complète couvrant tous les aspects de l’eMobility.

Vers un rôle de leader en logistique durable

EUTRACO entend poursuivre ses investissements dans l’électrification, l’efficacité énergétique et le suivi numérique des émissions. L’entreprise prévoit également de rendre ces données transparentes et accessibles à ses clients, afin d’entraîner l’ensemble du secteur dans cette dynamique vertueuse.

« Nous voulons non seulement réduire nos émissions, mais aussi les mesurer et les partager », conclut Serge Gregoir. « C’est une condition essentielle pour progresser collectivement vers un avenir durable. »

Roeselare, August 19, 2025 – A new era is dawning for sustainable transport in Belgium. Logistics service provider EUTRACO officially took delivery today of its first four Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 electric trucks, the prelude to an impressive fleet of fifty vehicles ordered. The symbolic handover took place at the Ghistelinck Autobedrijven site, in the presence of Serge Gregoir, CEO of EUTRACO.

With this major investment, the company is taking a decisive step towards achieving its ambition: to achieve completely zero-emission transport by 2035.

"We're not investing in e-trucks just because our customers ask us to, but because we want to offer them the most sustainable logistics solution possible," says Serge Gregoir. "With a range of 500 kilometers, optimized charging planning, and infrastructure installed at our own sites, the eActros 600 fits naturally into our daily operations."

Sustainability as a driver of innovation

For EUTRACO, energy and emissions are not just operating variables: they now represent a strategic development focus. The electrification of the fleet is therefore accompanied by investments in solar panels, battery storage systems, and smart energy management solutions. Charging stations for electric trucks are already being deployed at the logistics campuses in Roeselare, Ghent, and Willebroek.

"Sustainability should not be seen as a financial constraint," insists Gregoir. "Thanks to technology and smart choices, it is possible to combine performance and responsibility without passing the initial cost on to our customers." »

A strong partnership with Ghistelinck and Daimler Truck

This project would not have been possible without close collaboration with Ghistelinck Autobedrijven and Daimler Truck Belgium. Together, the partners defined the operational, financial, and technical conditions for integrating these new vehicles into the existing fleet. The first selected routes concern regional distribution and fixed routes with high added value for customers.

The gradual delivery of the eActros 600s will be handled by Ghistelinck Autobedrijven, which will also provide service and technical assistance. Financing was made possible by Daimler Truck Financial Services Belgium through its eService Leasing formula, a flexible and comprehensive solution covering all aspects of eMobility.

Towards a leading role in sustainable logistics

EUTRACO intends to continue its investments in electrification, energy efficiency, and digital emissions monitoring. The company also plans to make this data transparent and accessible to its customers, in order to bring the entire sector into this virtuous dynamic.

Roeselare, 19 augustus 2025 – Een nieuw tijdperk breekt aan voor duurzaam transport in België. Logistiek dienstverlener EUTRACO heeft vandaag officieel de eerste vier elektrische vrachtwagens van het type Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 in ontvangst genomen, de opmaat naar een indrukwekkende vloot van vijftig bestelde voertuigen. De symbolische overhandiging vond plaats op de site van Ghistelinck Autobedrijven, in aanwezigheid van Serge Gregoir, CEO van EUTRACO.

Met deze forse investering zet het bedrijf een beslissende stap in de richting van haar ambitie: volledig emissievrij transport tegen 2035.

"We investeren niet in e-trucks omdat onze klanten ons erom vragen, maar omdat we hen de meest duurzame logistieke oplossing willen bieden", aldus Serge Gregoir. "Met een actieradius van 500 kilometer, een geoptimaliseerde laadplanning en de infrastructuur die op onze eigen locaties is geïnstalleerd, past de eActros 600 perfect in onze dagelijkse bedrijfsvoering."

Duurzaamheid als motor voor innovatie

Voor EUTRACO zijn energie en emissies niet langer louter operationele variabelen: ze vormen nu een strategische ontwikkelingsfocus. De elektrificatie van het wagenpark gaat daarom gepaard met investeringen in zonnepanelen, batterijopslagsystemen en slimme energiebeheeroplossingen. Laadstations voor elektrische vrachtwagens worden al geïnstalleerd op de logistieke campussen in Roeselare, Gent en Willebroek.

"Duurzaamheid mag niet worden gezien als een financiële beperking", benadrukt Gregoir. "Dankzij technologie en slimme keuzes is het mogelijk om prestaties en verantwoordelijkheid te combineren zonder de initiële kosten door te berekenen aan onze klanten." »

Een sterke samenwerking met Ghistelinck en Daimler Truck

Dit project zou niet mogelijk zijn geweest zonder de nauwe samenwerking met Ghistelinck Autobedrijven en Daimler Truck Belgium. Samen hebben de partners de operationele, financiële en technische voorwaarden bepaald voor de integratie van deze nieuwe voertuigen in het bestaande wagenpark. De eerste geselecteerde routes betreffen regionale distributie en vaste routes met een hoge toegevoegde waarde voor de klanten.

De geleidelijke levering van de eActros 600's zal worden verzorgd door Ghistelinck Autobedrijven, dat ook de service en technische assistentie zal verzorgen. De financiering werd mogelijk gemaakt door Daimler Truck Financial Services Belgium via de eService Leasing-formule, een flexibele en allesomvattende oplossing die alle aspecten van eMobility omvat.

Naar een leidende rol in duurzame logistiek

EUTRACO wil blijven investeren in elektrificatie, energie-efficiëntie en digitale emissiemonitoring. Het bedrijf is ook van plan deze gegevens transparant en toegankelijk te maken voor zijn klanten, om de hele sector mee te laten profiteren van deze positieve dynamiek.
