Develon, anciennement Doosan Construction Equipment, a remporté les honneurs dans deux des catégories des CES 2024 Innovation Awards qui seront annoncés lors du CES 2024, le plus grand salon professionnel de l'électronique au monde, qui se tiendra à Las Vegas dans le Nevada, aux États-Unis, du 9 au 12. Janvier 2024.

SMART COLLISION MITIGATION (SCM) est un système de sécurité active qui détecte les objets autour d'une pelle grâce à la fusion de capteurs de caméra et de radar. La pelle est équipée de quatre caméras ou plus pour offrir une vue panoramique à 360 degrés. Grâce à la technologie IA, il peut détecter sélectivement des personnes ou des objets.

De plus, trois capteurs radar grand angle avec un champ de vision horizontal (FOV) de 180 degrés sont utilisés pour minimiser les angles morts et mesurer avec précision la distance des objets détectés. Lorsqu'un piéton ou un objet est détecté dans la zone d'avertissement/danger, des avertissements visuels/audibles sont activés, et la vitesse de rotation et de conduite de la pelle est réduite puis automatiquement arrêtée pour prévenir activement les accidents.

Develon est le premier fabricant d’équipements de construction au monde à utiliser la technologie de fusion pour compléter les caméras et les radars d’une machine. L'ajout de la technologie de fusion augmente considérablement la précision de la détection des obstacles et de la distance par rapport à l'équipement par rapport aux machines équipées d'un seul capteur.

Le système X-Agent de Develon a été honoré dans la deuxième catégorie – Appareils mobiles, accessoires et applications. X-Agent est une solution qui améliore la productivité et les compétences des conducteurs d'excavatrices, de chargeuses sur pneus et de tombereaux articulés.

X-Agent dispose d'une fonction d'IA qui analyse de manière approfondie les informations telles que l'état du conducteur/de l'équipement et le plan de travail pour créer un itinéraire optimisé afin d'améliorer la productivité des travailleurs non qualifiés d'environ 30 %. De plus, pour le contrôle à distance utilisant les informations de vision, il extrait des méta-informations basées sur les réseaux et envoie un minimum d'informations même dans un environnement réseau incomplet (2G, 3G). Cela permet un fonctionnement à distance fluide. En tant que produit optimisé pour les travaux mécaniques complexes, il permet d'économiser de la main d'œuvre, d'être respectueux de l'environnement et d'économiser environ 15 % d'énergie.

Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, has won honours in two of the categories in the CES 2024 Innovation Awards to be announced during the CES 2024 Exhibition, the world’s largest electronics trade show, being held in Las Vegas in Nevada, USA from 9-12 January 2024.

SMART COLLISION MITIGATION (SCM) is an active safety system that detects objects around an excavator through Sensor Fusion of camera and radar. The excavator is equipped with four or more cameras to provide a 360-degree All Around View. Using AI technology, it can selectively detect people or objects.

In addition, three wide-angle radar sensors with 180-degree horizontal field of view (FOV) are used to minimize blind spots and accurately measure the distance of detected objects. When a pedestrian or an object is detected within the warning/danger zone, visual/audible warnings are activated, and the swing and driving speed on the excavator are reduced and then automatically stopped to actively prevent accidents.

Develon is the first construction equipment manufacturer in the world to use fusion technology to supplement a machine’s cameras and radars. Adding fusion technology greatly elevates accuracy in detecting obstacles and distance from equipment compared to machines with a single sensor.

Develon’s X-Agent system was honoured in the second category - Mobile Devices, Accessories & Apps. X-Agent is a solution that improves the productivity and skill of drivers of excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks.

X-Agent has an AI function that comprehensively analyses information such as driver/equipment status and work plan to create an optimised route to improve the productivity of unskilled workers by about 30%. Also, for remote control using vision information, it extracts meta information based on the networks and sends minimum information even in an incomplete network environment (2G, 3G). This allows smooth remote operation. As a product optimized for complex mechanical work, it can save on labour, be environment-friendly, and save about 15% in energy.

Develon’s advanced technologies portfolio will be a prominent feature of the company’s stand at the Intermat Fair in Paris in April 2024, as part of a display under the theme of ‘Powered by Innovation’, including the first demonstration in Europe of the Develon Concept-X 2.0 autonomous construction equipment solution.
