Libramont 2025 : une 89e édition baignée de sérénité et d’enthousiasme

Le ciel est resté capricieux, mais rien n’a pu entamer l’élan de la 89e Foire agricole de Libramont. Sur les chemins de terre bordés de tentes vertes et blanches, les bottes crissent, les conversations fusent, et l’odeur des bêtes se mêle à celle du foin. Un chiffre parle de lui-même : 194.733 visiteurs ont foulé les allées cette année. C’est plus qu’en 2024. Et bien plus qu’un simple chiffre.

« Cela fait très longtemps que l’on n’a pas vécu une foire aussi sereine », confie Jean-François Piérard, président de Libramont Coopéralia, les yeux encore pétillants d’émotion. L’homme d’expérience semble lui-même surpris par cette atmosphère à la fois dynamique et paisible, comme si, après les remous des dernières années, la terre avait retrouvé son rythme.

Sous les nuages bas de l’Ardenne belge, les professionnels du secteur agricole & Genie Civil Camions et plus étaient au rendez-vous. Ils sont venus en nombre, sans doute portés par une météo peu engageante pour les travaux des champs. Et ils ont trouvé sur place bien plus qu’un simple salon agricole avec la section Genie Civil les machines, Camions piste d'essais et plus. Les exposants très satisfaits de leur nombreux contacts.

L’un des points forts de cette édition ? Le nouvel espace TomorrowFood. Un nom résolument tourné vers l’avenir, et une ambition claire : valoriser les entreprises pionnières qui s’engagent pour une alimentation locale et durable. « Un succès important », selon la directrice générale Natacha Perat, visiblement ravie de l’engouement suscité.

Autre nouveauté qui confirme son utilité : le pôle dédié à la viticulture, viniculture et fruiticulture, inauguré en 2024, a confirmé son potentiel. Entre les stands de jeunes arboriculteurs et les démonstrations de taille, le public a répondu présent, curieux de découvrir une agriculture parfois moins visible, mais tout aussi essentielle.

Derrière les concours d’animaux, les démonstrations de machines impressionnantes et les conférences de fond, ce sont douze pôles thématiques qui ont structuré la foire. Douze parcours pour explorer les métiers de la terre, dans toutes leurs dimensions. « Réunir les maillons des chaînes de valeur a énormément de sens », affirme Natacha Perat. Une conviction partagée par les exposants comme par les visiteurs, venus comprendre comment naît, grandit, se transforme ce qui finit dans nos assiettes.

À Libramont, la tradition et l’innovation marchent main dans la main. Et cette année, c’est un pas serein, franc et confiant qu’elles ont fait ensemble vers l’avenir.

Finir une foire, c’est déjà préparer la prochaine. Sachez que la 90ème édition, qui marquera le centenaire de l’existence de la Foire, débutera le 24 juillet 2026 pour se poursuivre avec deux jours de démonstrations en forêt, à Auby-sur-Semois (Bertrix).

Libramont 2025: An 89th Edition Filled with Serenity and Enthusiasm

The skies remained unpredictable, but nothing could dampen the momentum of the 89th Libramont Agricultural Fair. On the dirt roads lined with green and white tents, boots crunched, conversations flowed, and the smell of animals mingled with that of hay. One figure speaks for itself: 194,733 visitors walked the aisles this year. That's more than in 2024. And much more than just a figure.

"It's been a long time since we've experienced such a serene fair," confided Jean-François Piérard, President of Libramont Coopéralia, his eyes still sparkling with emotion. The experienced man himself seemed surprised by this atmosphere, both dynamic and peaceful, as if, after the turmoil of recent years, the earth had found its rhythm again.

Under the low clouds of the Belgian Ardennes, professionals from the agricultural and earthmoving sector, including trucks and more, were present. They came in large numbers, no doubt buoyed by the uninviting weather for field work. And they found much more than just an agricultural show, with the Earthmoving Machinery, Truck Test Track, and More sections. Exhibitors were very satisfied with the numerous contacts they had with potential future customers.

One of the highlights of this edition? The new TomorrowFood space. A name resolutely focused on the future, and a clear ambition: to promote pioneering companies committed to local and sustainable food. "A significant success," according to Managing Director Natacha Perat, visibly delighted with the enthusiasm generated.

Another new feature that confirms its usefulness: the center dedicated to viticulture, winemaking, and fruit growing, inaugurated in 2024, has confirmed its potential. Between the stands of young arborists and the pruning demonstrations, the public responded in force, curious to discover an agriculture that is sometimes less visible, but just as essential.

Behind the animal competitions, the impressive machine demonstrations, and the in-depth conferences, twelve thematic centers structured the fair. Twelve tours explore the agricultural professions, in all their dimensions. "Bringing together the links in the value chains makes enormous sense," says Natacha Perat. This conviction is shared by both exhibitors and visitors, who came to understand how what ends up on our plates is born, grows, and is transformed.

In Libramont, tradition and innovation go hand in hand. And this year, they took a serene, frank, and confident step toward the future.

Finishing one fair is already preparing for the next one. The 90th edition, which will mark the centenary of the Fair's existence, will begin on July 24, 2026, and continue with two days of demonstrations in the forest, in Auby-sur-Semois (Bertrix).

De lucht bleef onvoorspelbaar, maar niets kon het momentum van de 89e Landbouwbeurs van Libramont temperen. Op de onverharde wegen, bezaaid met groen-witte tenten, knarsten laarzen, klonken gesprekken en vermengde de geur van dieren zich met die van hooi. Eén cijfer spreekt voor zich: 194.733 bezoekers liepen dit jaar door de gangpaden. Dat is meer dan in 2024. En veel meer dan zomaar een cijfer.

"Het is lang geleden dat we zo'n serene beurs hebben meegemaakt", vertrouwde Jean-François Piérard, voorzitter van Libramont Coopéralia, toe, zijn ogen nog steeds fonkelend van emotie. De ervaren man zelf leek verrast door deze sfeer, zowel dynamisch als vredig, alsof de aarde na de onrust van de afgelopen jaren haar ritme weer had gevonden.

Onder de laaghangende wolken van de Belgische Ardennen waren professionals uit de landbouw- en grondverzetsector, waaronder vrachtwagens en meer, aanwezig. Ze waren in groten getale aanwezig, ongetwijfeld aangemoedigd door het onaantrekkelijke weer voor veldwerk. En ze vonden veel meer dan alleen een landbouwbeurs, met de onderdelen Grondverzetmachines, Testbaan voor vrachtwagens en Meer. De exposanten waren zeer tevreden over de vele contacten die ze hadden met potentiële toekomstige klanten.

Een van de hoogtepunten van deze editie? De nieuwe TomorrowFood-ruimte. Een naam die resoluut gericht is op de toekomst, en een duidelijke ambitie: het promoten van baanbrekende bedrijven die zich inzetten voor lokale en duurzame voeding. "Een groot succes", aldus algemeen directeur Natacha Perat, zichtbaar verheugd over het enthousiasme.

Nog een nieuwigheid die het nut ervan bevestigt: het centrum gewijd aan wijnbouw, wijnbouw en fruitteelt, dat in 2024 werd geopend, heeft zijn potentieel bevestigd. Tussen de stands van jonge boomverzorgers en de snoeidemonstraties door reageerde het publiek massaal, nieuwsgierig naar een landbouw die soms minder zichtbaar, maar net zo essentieel is.

Naast de dierenwedstrijden, de indrukwekkende machinedemonstraties en de verdiepende conferenties, vormden twaalf thematische centra de beurs. Twaalf rondleidingen verkennen de agrarische beroepen in al hun dimensies. "Het samenbrengen van de schakels in de waardeketens is enorm zinvol", zegt Natacha Perat. Deze overtuiging wordt gedeeld door zowel exposanten als bezoekers, die hebben begrepen hoe wat op ons bord belandt, ontstaat, groeit en transformeert.

In Libramont gaan traditie en innovatie hand in hand. En dit jaar zetten ze een serene, openhartige en zelfverzekerde stap naar de toekomst.

Het afsluiten van de ene beurs is alweer de voorbereiding op de volgende. De 90e editie, die het honderdjarig bestaan van de beurs markeert, begint op 24 juli 2026 en wordt voortgezet met twee dagen demonstraties in het bos, in Auby-sur-Semois (Bertrix).
