Sous les projecteurs, Manitowoc révélait une machine hors norme : la Grove GMK8700, une grue tout-terrain de 700 tonnes de capacité (800 USt) appelée à redéfinir les standards du levage lourd.

Plus qu’un simple nouveau modèle, cette grue représente l’aboutissement d’années de développement et d’innovation. Conçue dans les installations de Wilhelmshaven, en Allemagne, elle incarne la nouvelle génération d’équipements destinés aux projets d’infrastructure, aux parcs éoliens, aux raffineries ou aux mégachantiers industriels.

Un nouveau sommet dans la gamme Grove

Avec l’arrivée du GMK8700, la gamme de grues tout-terrain Grove s’étend désormais de 50 à 700 tonnes, couvrant ainsi un spectre complet d’applications.

Mais ce nouveau géant ne se contente pas d’être puissant : il a été conçu pour offrir une polyvalence maximale. Les propriétaires peuvent choisir entre deux configurations de flèche principales :

une flèche de 54 mètres (177 ft) pour les applications nécessitant compacité et rapidité

une flèche de 80 mètres (263 ft) pour les projets demandant une portée accrue

Ces flèches utilisent la conception Megaform™, caractérisée par des sections télescopiques interchangeables qui permettent d’adapter rapidement la machine à des conditions de chantier très variées.

Pour les opérations les plus ambitieuses, un jib à volée variable permet d’atteindre une hauteur impressionnante de 107 mètres (351 ft), ouvrant de nouvelles perspectives pour les levages complexes.

Malgré ses dimensions spectaculaires, la GMK8700 reste fidèle à l’ADN des grues tout-terrain : la mobilité.

a 54-meter (177 ft) boom for applications requiring compactness and speed

an 80-meter (263 ft) boom for projects demanding greater reach
