Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) vient de franchir une nouvelle étape avec la livraison de la toute première EX2000-7 sur le continent. Cette excavatrice ultra-large de 200 tonnes a été remise à un client français en septembre 2025, après une phase d’assemblage et de mise en service assurée par le concessionnaire agréé Teramat.

Implanté dans la région centre-est de la France, le client a fait le choix de l’EX2000-7 pour relever des défis d’excavation particulièrement exigeants. Il s’agit également de la toute première machine Hitachi intégrée à son parc, un symbole fort de confiance et d’ambition partagée.

Une machine taillée pour l’extrême

Réputée pour sa robustesse et sa productivité exceptionnelle, l’EX2000-7 a été conçue pour évoluer dans les conditions les plus sévères. Sur ce site, les contraintes sont multiples : une hauteur de front de taille comprise entre 0 et 13 mètres et des exigences élevées en matière de précision et de puissance. La machine est ainsi équipée d’un godet Hitachi étroit de 9 m³, offrant une force de pénétration accrue et une efficacité optimale.

Afin de répondre parfaitement aux besoins du chantier, Teramat a enrichi la configuration avec plusieurs options spécifiques, dont un racleur à chaîne pour l’évacuation des matériaux, un système de protection incendie par brouillard d’eau, ainsi qu’un chauffage auxiliaire de cabine, garantissant confort et sécurité des opérateurs en toutes circonstances.

Le fruit d’un partenariat de confiance

L’EX2000-7 a été officiellement inaugurée lors d’un événement dédié en octobre, en présence de Satoshi Konno, Vice-Président Product Support, Parts & Mining chez HCME, de Pierre Mailland-Rosset, Directeur Général de Teramat, ainsi que de représentants politiques régionaux, des équipes du client et de nombreux partenaires.

Cette livraison emblématique illustre plus de 20 années de collaboration étroite entre HCME, Teramat et le client final. Une relation bâtie sur la confiance, la performance et un accompagnement technique de haut niveau.

Pierre Mailland-Rosset souligne :

This is a landmark moment for the heavy-duty equipment sector in Europe. Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) has just reached a new milestone with the delivery of the very first EX2000-7 on the continent. This 200-tonne ultra-wide excavator was delivered to a French customer in September 2025, following assembly and commissioning by the authorized dealer Teramat.

Located in the central-eastern region of France, the customer chose the EX2000-7 to tackle particularly demanding excavation challenges. It is also the very first Hitachi machine added to their fleet, a powerful symbol of shared confidence and ambition.

A machine built for extreme conditions

Renowned for its robustness and exceptional productivity, the EX2000-7 was designed to operate in the most demanding conditions. On this site, the constraints are numerous: a working face height ranging from 0 to 13 meters and high demands for precision and power. The machine is therefore equipped with a narrow 9 m³ Hitachi bucket, offering increased penetration force and optimal efficiency.

To perfectly meet the site's needs, Teramat has enhanced the configuration with several specific options, including a chain scraper for material removal, a water mist fire protection system, and auxiliary cab heating, ensuring operator comfort and safety in all circumstances.

The Fruit of a Trusted Partnership

The EX2000-7 was officially inaugurated at a dedicated event in October, attended by Satoshi Konno, Vice President of Product Support, Parts & Mining at HCME, Pierre Mailland-Rosset, Managing Director of Teramat, as well as regional political representatives, the customer's teams, and numerous partners.

This landmark delivery illustrates more than 20 years of close collaboration between HCME, Teramat, and the end customer. A relationship built on trust, performance, and high-level technical support.

Pierre Mailland-Rosset emphasizes:
