La joint-venture (JV) Implenia et Demathieu Bard Construction a remporté le contrat du lot 3 de la future ligne C du métro de Toulouse par Tisséo, l'autorité organisatrice des transports publics du Grand Toulouse.
La ligne C doit relier Colomiers à Labège à partir de fin 2028 pour une durée de chantier estimée à 57 mois.
La part d'Implenia dans le contrat s'élève à environ 166 millions d'euros et comprend le forage de 3.814 m de tunnel sous une zone urbaine densément peuplée, ainsi que des travaux de génie civil pour la construction de quatre stations souterraines à une profondeur de 24 à 39 m, en plus de trois structures annexes.
La joint-venture a proposé d'utiliser la méthode «Variable Density Conveyor», une solution de tunnel innovante qui aidera à faire face aux défis posés par différentes conditions de sol. On dit également que le BIM (Building Information Modeling) est utilisé pour la planification et l'exécution du projet.
L'offre d'Implenia et Demathieu Bard Construction a souligné que la durabilité était une priorité absolue. La coentreprise utilisera des tubbings en béton renforcé de fibres, tandis que les arbres sur le site seront protégés et préservés pendant toute la période de construction.

Implenia and Demathieu Bard Construction joint venture (JV) has been awarded the contract for Lot 3 of future Line C of the Toulouse Metro by Tisséo, the public transport authority for Greater Toulouse.
Line C is scheduled to run from Colomiers to Labège from the end of 2028 with the project estimated to last 57 months.
Implenia’s share of the contract is worth approximately €166 million and includes drilling 3,814 m of tunnel beneath a densely populated urban area, as well as civil engineering work for the construction of four underground stations at a depth of 24 to 39 m, in addition to three ancillary structures.
The joint venture has proposed using the ‘Variable Density Conveyor’ method, an innovative tunnelling solution that will help cope with the challenges presented by different soil conditions. BIM (Building Information Modeling) is also said to be used for planning and executing the project.
Implenia and Demathieu Bard Construction’s bid highlighted that sustainability was a top priority. The JV will use fibre-reinforced concrete tubbings, whilst trees on the site will be protected and preserved throughout the entire construction period.

Implenia en Demathieu Bard Construction joint venture (JV) heeft het contract gekregen voor perceel 3 van toekomstige lijn C van de metro van Toulouse door Tisséo, de openbaarvervoersautoriteit voor de regio Toulouse.
Lijn C is gepland om vanaf eind 2028 van Colomiers naar Labège te rijden en het project zal naar schatting 57 maanden duren.
Implenia's aandeel in het contract heeft een waarde van ongeveer € 166 miljoen en omvat het boren van een tunnel van 3.814 m onder een dichtbevolkt stedelijk gebied, evenals civieltechnische werkzaamheden voor de bouw van vier metrostations op een diepte van 24 tot 39 m, naast drie hulpstructuren.
De joint venture heeft voorgesteld om de 'Variable Density Conveyor'-methode te gebruiken, een innovatieve tunneloplossing die zal helpen om te gaan met de uitdagingen van verschillende bodemgesteldheid. BIM (Building Information Modeling) zou ook worden gebruikt voor het plannen en uitvoeren van het project.
Het bod van Implenia en Demathieu Bard Construction benadrukte dat duurzaamheid een topprioriteit was. De JV zal buizen van vezelversterkt beton gebruiken, terwijl de bomen op de site gedurende de hele bouwperiode zullen worden beschermd en behouden.
