Pour la deuxième année consécutive, IVECO contribuera aux objectifs de développement durable d'ETRA avec le camion IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace, qui peut réduire les émissions de CO2 jusqu'à 95 % par rapport aux camions à moteur diesel lorsqu'ils sont alimentés au bio-GNL.
IVECO participera au Championnat d'Europe de courses de camions (ETRC) 2022 en tant que sponsor technique de "Die Bullen von IVECO" - le partenariat entre Team Schwabentruck et Team Hahn. Les pilotes de l'équipe concourront sur les nouveaux camions de course IVECO S-WAY-R qui ont été améliorés pour améliorer leurs performances puissantes et réduire davantage leurs émissions.
IVECO est le partenaire officiel du FIA European Truck Racing Championship pour la saison 2022, suite à l'accord signé l'année dernière avec l'European Truck Racing Association (ETRA) pour prolonger leur partenariat de longue date jusqu'à la fin de la saison 2023. La marque contribuera aux objectifs de durabilité de l'ETRA pour réduire son empreinte carbone avec l'IVECO S-WAY LNG respectueux de l'environnement, le tout premier Pace Truck à traction alternative en FIA-ETRC. Sur la voie de l'objectif de zéro net d'ici 2038, le FIA ETRC met en œuvre des actions dans l'ensemble de ses activités, notamment le passage à un carburant 100 % durable pour tous les concurrents. À partir du premier Grand Prix Camion de l'année sur le circuit de Misano en Italie les 21 et 22 mai, le Camion IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace sera de service.
L'IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace Truck sera propulsé par du bio-GNL stocké dans ses deux réservoirs de 540 litres contenant au moins 390 kg de bio-GNL liquide, ce qui lui donnera une autonomie allant jusqu'à 1 600 kilomètres. Avec ce carburant, il générera nettement moins de dioxyde d'azote et 95 % d'émissions de CO2 en moins par rapport à un camion diesel. Il a été préparé pour son rôle important à l'ETRC avec une livrée élégante et spécialement conçue et plusieurs pièces personnalisées telles que deux gyrophares jaunes, une barre lumineuse avec phares à LED, un pare-buffle éclairé en trois parties et des clignotants à LED requis par la FIA- Règlement technique ETRA.
IVECO participera également à nouveau à l'ETRC 2022 en tant que sponsor technique du "Die Bullen von IVECO", le partenariat entre les équipes Hahn Racing et Schwabentruck. Il soutiendra l'équipe avec le nouveau camion de course IVECO S-WAY-R, qui a subi d'importantes améliorations pour améliorer ses performances puissantes tout en réduisant davantage ses émissions.
La pilote allemande Steffi Halm reviendra en tant que chef d'équipe de l'équipe Schwabentruck, avec la recrue finlandaise Emma Makinen comme coéquipière. Steffi vise à améliorer la bonne performance de l'année dernière, lorsqu'elle a remporté cinq podiums. Le sextuple champion d'Europe Jochen Hahn dirigera l'équipe Hahn, avec son fils Lukas Hahn également dans l'équipe. Jochen sera en compétition pour retrouver son titre de Champion.

IVECO contributes to a sustainable European Truck Racing Championship 2022
with its IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace Truck and competes with the “Die Bullen von IVECO”
For the second year running, IVECO will contribute to ETRA’s sustainability goals with the IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace Truck, which can cut CO2 emissions by up to 95 percent compared to diesel-powered trucks when powered by bio-LNG.
IVECO will participate in the European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) 2022 as technical sponsor of “Die Bullen von IVECO” – the partnership between Team Schwabentruck and Team Hahn. The team’s pilots will compete on the new IVECO S-WAY-R racing trucks which have been upgraded to enhance their trademark powerful performance and further reduce their emissions.
IVECO is the official partner of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship for the 2022 season, following the agreement signed last year with European Truck Racing Association (ETRA) to extend their longstanding partnership until the end of the 2023 season. The brand will contribute to the ETRA’s sustainability goals to reduce its carbon footprint with the environmentally friendly IVECO S-WAY LNG, the first ever Pace Truck with alternative traction in FIA-ETRC. In the path to the target of net zero by 2038, FIA ETRC is implementing actions across its operation, including the switch to 100% sustainable fuel for all competitors. Beginning with the first Truck Grand Prix of the year at the Misano circuit in Italy on 21-22 May, the IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace Truck will be on duty.
The IVECO S-WAY LNG Pace Truck will be powered by bio-LNG stored in its two 540-litre tanks that hold at least 390kg of liquid bio-LNG, giving it a range of up to 1,600 kilometres. With this fuel, it will generate significantly lower nitrogen dioxide and 95 percent less CO2 emissions in comparison with a diesel truck. It has been prepared for its important role at the ETRC with a stylish, specially designed livery and several custom parts such as two yellow rotating beacons, a light bar with LED headlights, an illuminated three-piece bull bar and LED flashers required by FIA-ETRA technical regulations.
IVECO will also take part again in the ETRC 2022 as technical sponsor of the “Die Bullen von IVECO”, the partnership between the Hahn Racing and Schwabentruck teams. It will support the team with the new IVECO S-WAY-R race truck, which has undergone significant upgrades to enhance its powerful performance while cutting further its emissions.
German driver Steffi Halm will return as team leader of the Schwabentruck team, with Finnish rookie pilot Emma Makinen as team mate. Steffi aims to improve on last year’s good performance, when she won five podiums. Six-time European champion Jochen Hahn will head Team Hahn, with his son Lukas Hahn also in the team. Jochen will be competing to regain his title as Champion.

IVECO zal deelnemen aan het European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) 2022 als technische sponsor van "Die Bullen von IVECO" - het partnerschap tussen Team Schwabentruck en Team Hahn. Hij is voorbereid op zijn belangrijke rol bij de ETRC met een stijlvolle, speciaal ontworpen kleurstelling en verschillende custom onderdelen zoals twee gele zwaailichten, een lichtbalk met LED-koplampen, een verlichte driedelige bullbar en LED-knipperlichten vereist door de FIA- ETRA technische voorschriften.
IVECO zal ook opnieuw deelnemen aan de ETRC 2022 als technische sponsor van de "Die Bullen von IVECO", het partnerschap tussen de teams Hahn Racing en Schwabentruck.
