IVECO participera à la 45e édition du Rallye Dakar, démontrant une fois de plus la puissance et la fiabilité de ses camions avec deux nouvelles équipes : Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO et Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO.
Janus van Kasteren jr, Vick Versteijnen et le duo père-fils Martin et Mitchel van den Brink courront au volant de quatre camions IVECO Powerstar.
IVECO participera à nouveau à la course historique Dakar avec deux nouvelles équipes : Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO et Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO font chauffer les moteurs avant le Dakar, la course de rallye raid la plus extrême au monde, qui aura lieu pour le quatrième fois en Arabie Saoudite du 31 décembre 2022 au 15 janvier 2023.
IVECO sera le fournisseur officiel des deux équipes et leur fournira des véhicules, des moteurs et des pièces de rechange. Tous les camions IVECO Powerstar sont équipés de moteurs IVECO Cursor 13 avec jusqu'à 1000 ch spécialement conçus par FPT Industrial - la marque sœur d'IVECO au sein du groupe Iveco et un leader mondial spécialisé dans les technologies de groupe motopropulseur avancées - avec les dernières mises à jour sur la configuration de la suspension et les systèmes de gonflage des pneus. La dernière édition du rallye Dakar - qui verra s'affronter 365 véhicules - revient en Arabie Saoudite avec un nouveau parcours qui sera une véritable épreuve d'endurance extrême. Les concurrents parcourront une distance totale de plus de 8 500 km sur un terrain périlleux, en partant des rives de la mer Rouge et en franchissant la ligne d'arrivée à Damman, de l'autre côté de la péninsule arabique. Le niveau de difficulté est encore monté d'un cran pour cette édition qui mettra les pilotes à l'épreuve, avec près de 5 000 km de spéciales enchâssées dans le prologue de la compétition et 14 étapes, dont une incursion de quatre jours dans l'océan des dunes du Quartier Vide et une étape « Marathon » où les équipages et les camions de rallye s'affronteront sans assistance.

Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO
Mitchel van den Brink a fait ses débuts en course à seulement 16 ans, lorsqu'il a rejoint son père Martin en tant que mécanicien/navigateur à Dakar 2019, alors qu'il était le plus jeune participant à la course de rallye. Il concourra dans un IVECO Powerstar (véhicule #511) avec le navigateur Moises Torrallardona et le mécanicien Jarno Van De Pol.
Martin van den Brink, légende du Dakar depuis 2009, participera avec le navigateur Rijk Mouw et le mécanicien Erik Kofman. Après avoir terminé le Dakar 2021 en 8e position, il courra à bord d'un IVECO Powerstar (véhicule n°506), visant une finition encore meilleure.
Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO
Janus van Kasteren jr est pilote de rallye et participera pour la quatrième fois au rallye Dakar au volant d'un IVECO Powerstar (véhicule n°502) avec le navigateur Marcel Snijders et le mécanicien Darek Rodewald. Il aura pour objectif de capitaliser sur l'expérience qu'il a acquise lors des éditions précédentes et d'améliorer la 6e place qu'il a obtenue lors de l'édition 2020.
Vick Versteijnen, des Pays-Bas, a fait ses débuts au rallye Dakar en 2015, et courra dans un IVECO Powerstar (véhicule #504) avec le navigateur Teun Van Dal et le mécanicien Andreas Van Der Sande.

IVECO will compete in the 45th edition of the Dakar Rally Race, demonstrating once again the power and reliability of its trucks with two new teams: Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO and Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO.
Janus van Kasteren jr, Vick Versteijnen, and the father-son duo Martin and Mitchel van den Brink will race behind the wheel of four IVECO Powerstar trucks.
IVECO will participate once again in the historic Dakar race with two new teams: Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO and Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO are warming up engines ahead of the Dakar, the world’s most extreme rally raid race, which will take place for the fourth time in Saudi Arabia from 31st December 2022 to 15th January 2023.
IVECO will be the official supplier of the two teams and provide them with vehicles, engines and spare parts. All the IVECO Powerstar trucks feature IVECO Cursor 13 engines with up to 1000 hp specially engineered by FPT Industrial - IVECO's sister Brand within Iveco Group and a global leader specialised in advanced powertrain technologies - with the lastest updates on suspension set up and tyre inflation systems. The latest edition of the Dakar rally race - which will see 365 vehicles competing - returns to Saudi Arabia with a new route that will be a true test of extreme endurance. The competitors will cover a total distance of over 8,500 km on perilous terrain, starting on the shores of the Red Sea and crossing the finish line in Damman, on the opposite side of the Arabian Peninsula. The level of difficulty has been ramped up once again for this edition that will put the pilots to the test, with close to 5,000 km of specials packed into the competition’s prologue and 14 stages, which will include a four-day foray into the ocean of dunes of the Empty Quarter and a “Marathon” stage where the crews and rally trucks will compete without assistance.

Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO
Mitchel van den Brink made his racing debut at just 16 years old, when he joined his father Martin as a mechanic/navigator in Dakar 2019, when he was the youngest ever participant in the rally race. He will compete in an IVECO Powerstar (vehicle #511) with navigator Moises Torrallardona and mechanic Jarno Van De Pol.
Martin van den Brink, a legend of the Dakar since 2009, will participate with navigator Rijk Mouw and mechanic Erik Kofman. Having finished the Dakar 2021 in 8th position, he will compete on board an IVECO Powerstar (vehicle #506), aiming for an even better finish.
Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO
Janus van Kasteren jr is a rally driver and will be competing in the Dakar rally for the fourth time behind the wheel of an IVECO Powerstar (vehicle #502) with navigator Marcel Snijders and mechanic Darek Rodewald. He will aim to capitalise on the experience he gained in the previous editions and improve on the 6th place he achieved in the 2020 edition.
Vick Versteijnen, from The Netherlands, made his debut in the Dakar rally in 2015, and will compete in an IVECO Powerstar (vehicle #504) with navigator Teun Van Dal and mechanic Andreas Van Der Sande.

IVECO zal deelnemen aan de 45e editie van de Dakar Rally Race en zal opnieuw de kracht en betrouwbaarheid van zijn trucks demonstreren met twee nieuwe teams: Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO en Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO.
Janus van Kasteren jr., Vick Versteijnen en het vader-zoon duo Martin en Mitchel van den Brink racen achter het stuur van vier IVECO Powerstar trucks.
IVECO zal opnieuw deelnemen aan de historische Dakar-race met twee nieuwe teams: Boss Machinery Team de Rooy IVECO en Eurol Team de Rooy IVECO warmen de motoren op voorafgaand aan de Dakar, 's werelds meest extreme rally-raidrace, die zal plaatsvinden voor de vierde keer in Saoedi-Arabië van 31 december 2022 tot 15 januari 2023.
IVECO zal de officiële leverancier van de twee teams zijn en hen voorzien van voertuigen, motoren en reserveonderdelen. Alle IVECO Powerstar-vrachtwagens zijn voorzien van IVECO Cursor 13-motoren met maximaal 1000 pk, speciaal ontwikkeld door FPT Industrial - IVECO's zustermerk binnen de Iveco Group en een wereldleider gespecialiseerd in geavanceerde aandrijflijntechnologieën - met de nieuwste updates op het gebied van ophangingssystemen en bandenspanningssystemen. De nieuwste editie van de Dakar-rallyrace - waaraan 365 voertuigen zullen deelnemen - keert terug naar Saoedi-Arabië met een nieuwe route die een ware test van extreem uithoudingsvermogen zal zijn. De deelnemers leggen een totale afstand af van meer dan 8.500 km op gevaarlijk terrein, beginnend aan de oevers van de Rode Zee en de finishlijn in Damman, aan de andere kant van het Arabische schiereiland. Hij zal ernaar streven om de ervaring die hij in de vorige edities heeft opgedaan te verzilveren en de 6e plaats die hij behaalde in de editie van 2020 te verbeteren.
