John Deere continues the electrification of its production equipment with the launch of the new 844 and 904 X-Tier wheel loaders. Designed for the most demanding applications, these machines combine advanced electric transmission, productivity gains, and significantly reduced fuel consumption.

With this new generation of high-capacity loaders, the American manufacturer aims to meet the needs of quarry operators, industrial sites, and large material handling facilities, where every loading cycle has a direct impact on operational profitability.

At the heart of the new 844 and 904 X-Tier is the Electric Variable Transmission (EVT) developed by John Deere. This technology replaces the limitations of conventional transmissions with intelligent electronic power management, offering faster response, smoother operation, and increased fuel efficiency.

The EVT also enables single-pedal operation and decouples hydraulic performance from engine speed. This allows operators to benefit from simplified driving while maintaining consistent power during the most demanding jobs.

According to John Deere, the new loaders feature two operating modes tailored to job site needs.
