Capable of moving a gross vehicle weight of up to one million pounds (over 450 tonnes), the C580 is designed for the most extreme sectors: mining, oil and gas, transporting oversized equipment, forestry, and major industrial projects. From the Arctic oil fields to the forests of Borneo and the mines of Asia, the C500 had built a global reputation. The C580 now carries on this legacy with even greater ambition.

Beneath its imposing silhouette, the newcomer boasts the powerful Cummins X15 engine, delivering up to 605 horsepower, paired with a full range of transmissions, including the new Eaton Endurant XD Pro, a first for a truck in this class. Na meer dan een halve eeuw heerschappij van de legendarische C500 slaat Kenworth een nieuw hoofdstuk open met de C580, een truck ontworpen om de grenzen van zwaar transport en de meest veeleisende toepassingen te verleggen. Deze nieuwe opvolger van een ware icoon combineert de robuustheid die zijn voorganger zo beroemd maakte met geavanceerde technologieën en biedt een machine gebouwd voor omgevingen waar kracht, betrouwbaarheid en duurzaamheid absolute vereisten zijn.

Met een totaalgewicht van maximaal 450 ton (1 miljoen pond) is de C580 ontworpen voor de meest extreme sectoren: mijnbouw, olie en gas, transport van exceptioneel materieel, bosbouw en grote industriële projecten.
