À la tête de cette carrière à ciel ouvert se trouve Alescia Pierce, une dirigeante déterminée qui incarne une nouvelle génération de leaders. Propriétaire et gestionnaire du site, elle pilote la production avec rigueur, épaulée par une équipe majoritairement féminine, aussi compétente sur les engins que dans l’organisation. Mais au-delà de la technologie, ce sont les relations humaines qui font la différence. In the heart of Connecticut, in Broad Brook, the rumble of machinery blends with a unique energy. Here, sand, gravel, and topsoil are not simply extracted: they are transformed with passion and precision by Pierce Builders, a company that is shaking up the industry.

At the helm of this open-pit quarry is Alescia Pierce, a determined leader who embodies a new generation of leaders. Owner and manager of the site, she oversees production with rigor, supported by a predominantly female team, as skilled on the machinery as they are in organization. But Alescia Pierce isn't one to manage remotely: on the ground, she doesn't hesitate to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty.

For its part, the MOBISCREEN MSC 953 EVO excels in the production of sand for asphalt, concrete, and paving materials. Its strength lies in the perfect combination of power and simplicity. It can process up to 3,000 tons of dry material per day and approximately 1,500 tons of wet material, with an average fuel consumption of only 40 gallons per day. All of this is controlled via an intuitive mobile control unit, making mechanical levers a thing of the past.

Around these screens, the ecosystem is perfectly orchestrated. John Deere wheel loaders and excavators feed the installations, while MOBIBELT mobile conveyors ensure material storage. These conveyors save valuable time and optimize loader utilization on site. Digital management, provided by the John Deere Operations Center, connects machines, operators, and the office in a continuous flow of information, guaranteeing smooth and modern logistics.

But beyond the technology, it's the human relationships that make the difference. The support of regional dealer WI Clark, a Wirtgen Group partner, has proven crucial. "We work closely together and are always looking for the best solutions for this tireless team," explains Greg Hutlburt of WI Clark.

Alescia Pierce concludes enthusiastically:

"We have exceptional machines, state-of-the-art site logistics, and fast, simple, and efficient service. Honestly, what more could you ask for?"
