Komatsu dévoile la PC20E-6, sa nouvelle mini-pelle électrique pensée pour répondre aux exigences d’un chantier complet, qu’il soit traditionnel ou situé en zone sensible au bruit et aux émissions.

Dotée d’une batterie de 11,8 kW et d’une capacité de 23,2 kWh, la PC20E-6 offre plusieurs modes de fonctionnement afin d’adapter l’autonomie aux besoins de chaque chantier. Avec un poids opérationnel de 2 110 kg, elle a été spécialement conçue par les équipes européennes de Komatsu, alliant performance, durabilité et simplicité d’utilisation.

Une expérience sans souci grâce au programme Komatsu E-Support

Pour accompagner cette nouvelle génération de machines, Komatsu propose le programme E-Support, entièrement inclus dans l’achat de la PC20E-6. Il comprend :

Un entretien gratuit et programmé en usine, réalisé par des techniciens formés Komatsu avec des pièces d’origine.

Une garantie de 3 ans ou 2 000 heures sur la machine.

Une machine conçue grâce aux données terrain

Le développement de la PC20E-6 s’appuie sur une analyse approfondie des données collectées par le système de gestion de flotte Komtrax. L’étude de 40 000 journées de travail de mini-pelles comparables a montré que 90 % des machines ne fonctionnent pas plus de 3,5 heures par jour.

Partant de ce constat, Komatsu a conçu la PC20E-6 pour offrir des performances parfaitement calibrées aux besoins réels du terrain, à un prix compétitif.

Grâce à des solutions de recharge flexibles, la PC20E-6 peut être alimentée directement en 230V (3kW), ou via un chargeur rapide externe en 400V (12kW, disponible dès octobre 2025). Une pause déjeuner peut ainsi suffire à restaurer l’énergie nécessaire pour le reste de la journée.

Les analyses issues de l’expérience de Komatsu dans les chariots élévateurs électriques laissent entrevoir une durée de vie de batterie d’environ 10 ans, avec une utilisation et une recharge quotidiennes.

Une simplicité d’entretien et une efficacité renforcée

Par rapport à une machine thermique classique, la PC20E-6 supprime de nombreuses étapes d’entretien quotidiennes : plus besoin de vérifier l’huile moteur, le liquide de refroidissement, l’indicateur de poussière ou encore de vidanger le réservoir de carburant.

Autre innovation : un système de clés d’identification (ID keys) permettant d’enregistrer jusqu’à 255 opérateurs par machine, simplifiant ainsi la gestion des flottes et l’efficacité sur le terrain.

Avec un taux de recyclage de 99 %, la PC20E-6 s’inscrit dans une logique de durabilité globale. Komatsu unveils the PC20E-6, its new electric mini-excavator designed to meet the requirements of a complete construction site, whether traditional or located in noise- and emission-sensitive areas.

Equipped with an 11.8 kW battery and a capacity of 23.2 kWh, the PC20E-6 offers several operating modes to adapt its operating range to the needs of each site. With an operating weight of 2,110 kg, it has been specially designed by Komatsu's European teams, combining performance, durability, and ease of use.

A worry-free experience thanks to the Komatsu E-Support program

To support this new generation of machines, Komatsu offers the E-Support program, fully included with the purchase of the PC20E-6. It includes:

Free, scheduled factory maintenance, performed by Komatsu-trained technicians using genuine parts.

A 3-year or 2,000-hour warranty on the machine.

A 5-year or 10,000-hour warranty on high-quality electrical components.

A machine designed using field data

The development of the PC20E-6 is based on an in-depth analysis of data collected by the Komtrax fleet management system. A study of 40,000 workdays of comparable mini-excavators showed that 90% of the machines operate no more than 3.5 hours per day.

Based on this observation, Komatsu designed the PC20E-6 to offer performance perfectly calibrated to real-world field needs, at a competitive price.

Thanks to flexible charging solutions, the PC20E-6 can be powered directly from 230V (3kW), or via an external 400V fast charger (12kW, available from October 2025). A lunch break can thus be enough to restore the energy needed for the rest of the day.

Analysis based on Komatsu's experience with electric forklifts suggests a battery life of approximately 10 years, with daily use and charging.

Simple Maintenance and Increased Efficiency

Compared to a conventional thermal machine, the PC20E-6 eliminates many daily maintenance steps: no need to check the engine oil, coolant, dust indicator, or drain the fuel tank.

Another innovation: an ID key system that allows up to 255 operators to be registered per machine, simplifying fleet management and improving efficiency in the field.
