À l’occasion du salon IFAT 2026 de Munich, Liebherr a présenté une innovation majeure dans sa gamme d’équipements de manutention : la L 507 E, première chargeuse sur pneus entièrement électrique du constructeur allemand. Ce nouveau modèle marque une étape importante dans la stratégie d’électrification de la marque tout en conservant les performances qui ont fait la réputation de ses machines compactes.

Des performances équivalentes au diesel, sans émissions locales

La nouvelle L 507 E offre des performances comparables à celles des chargeuses Liebherr à motorisation diesel de même catégorie. Son principal atout réside dans son fonctionnement sans émissions directes de CO₂ sur le chantier, répondant ainsi aux exigences croissantes de décarbonation des activités industrielles et de recyclage.

L’absence de moteur thermique permet également de réduire considérablement les nuisances sonores. Cette caractéristique fait de la L 507 E une solution particulièrement adaptée aux environnements sensibles tels que les centres de recyclage urbains, les installations couvertes ou les zones soumises à des restrictions acoustiques.

Une batterie haute tension développée spécifiquement par Liebherr

Pour alimenter sa nouvelle chargeuse, Liebherr a conçu un système de batterie haute tension spécialement développé pour les applications de la L 507 E. Cette technologie garantit à la fois des performances élevées et une recharge optimisée.

Selon les conditions d’utilisation, l’autonomie peut atteindre jusqu’à huit heures de travail. Grâce à une architecture modulaire, les clients peuvent également opter pour une seconde batterie lithium-ion afin d’augmenter davantage la durée d’exploitation entre deux recharges.

Le temps de charge complet varie entre 1 h 30 et 3 heures, en fonction de la technologie embarquée et de la puissance de recharge disponible.

Réactivité et efficacité énergétique

L’entraînement électrique procure une disponibilité immédiate du couple moteur, garantissant une excellente réactivité lors des opérations de chargement et de manutention. Les opérateurs bénéficient ainsi de mouvements de travail dynamiques et d’une conduite particulièrement fluide.

La chargeuse est équipée en série d’une vitesse maximale de 20 km/h. Une version « Speeder » est également proposée en option, permettant d’atteindre 30 km/h pour faciliter les déplacements entre différents sites d’intervention.

Dans une logique d’optimisation énergétique, la machine intègre un système de récupération d’énergie. Lors des phases de freinage ou dans les descentes, l’énergie générée est réinjectée dans la batterie, contribuant à prolonger l’autonomie.

La technologie Stereo Steering au service de la stabilité

La L 507 E reprend l’architecture de la chargeuse stéréo Liebherr L 507 de 68 ch, dont elle conserve le système exclusif de direction Stereo Steering. Cette technologie associe une articulation centrale à un essieu arrière directeur, combinant les avantages de la direction articulée traditionnelle et de la direction intégrale.

Cette configuration permet d’obtenir un rayon de braquage extrêmement réduit tout en limitant l’angle d’articulation à 30 degrés. Résultat : une meilleure stabilité de la machine, notamment lors des opérations de manutention avec charge.

Liebherr équipe également la L 507 E de son articulation pendulaire articulée, conçue pour compenser efficacement les irrégularités du terrain et garantir une excellente stabilité, même sur des surfaces accidentées.

At the IFAT 2026 trade fair in Munich, Liebherr presented a major innovation in its material handling equipment range: the L 507 E, the German manufacturer's first fully electric wheel loader. This new model marks a significant step in the brand's electrification strategy while maintaining the performance for which its compact machines are renowned.

Performance Equivalent to Diesel, with No Local Emissions

The new L 507 E offers performance comparable to that of Liebherr's diesel-powered loaders in the same class. Its main advantage lies in its operation without direct CO₂ emissions on the job site, thus meeting the growing demands for decarbonizing industrial and recycling activities.

The absence of a combustion engine also significantly reduces noise pollution. This feature makes the L 507 E a particularly suitable solution for sensitive environments such as urban recycling centers, covered facilities, or areas subject to noise restrictions.

A high-voltage battery developed specifically by Liebherr

To power its new loader, Liebherr designed a high-voltage battery system specifically developed for L 507 E applications. This technology ensures both high performance and optimized charging.

Depending on operating conditions, the operating time can reach up to eight hours. Thanks to a modular design, customers can also opt for a second lithium-ion battery to further extend the operating time between charges.

Full charging time varies between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending on the onboard technology and available charging power.

Responsiveness and energy efficiency

The electric drive provides immediate torque, ensuring excellent responsiveness during loading and handling operations. Operators benefit from dynamic work movements and exceptionally smooth handling.

The loader comes standard with a top speed of 20 km/h. A "Speeder" version is also available as an option, allowing it to reach 30 km/h for easier travel between different work sites.

To optimize energy efficiency, the machine incorporates an energy recovery system. During braking or descents, the energy generated is fed back into the battery, helping to extend operating time.

Stereo Steering technology for enhanced stability

The L 507 E is based on the architecture of the 68 hp Liebherr L 507 stereo loader, retaining its exclusive Stereo Steering system. This technology combines a central articulation with a rear steering axle, combining the advantages of traditional articulated steering and all-wheel steering.

This configuration allows for an extremely tight turning radius while limiting the articulation angle to 30 degrees. The result: improved machine stability, especially during handling operations with loads.

Liebherr also equips the L 507 E with its articulated pendulum articulation, designed to effectively compensate for uneven terrain and ensure excellent stability, even on rough surfaces.

A new step in the electrification of compact equipment

With the L 507 E, Liebherr takes another step forward in the development of low-emission material handling solutions. By combining the autonomy, performance, and proven technologies of the Stereo range, the manufacturer offers a credible alternative to conventional powertrains for urban, industrial, and recycling applications.

Dit nieuwe model markeert een belangrijke stap in de elektrificatiestrategie van het merk, met behoud van de prestaties waar de compacte machines om bekend staan.

Prestaties vergelijkbaar met diesel, zonder lokale emissies

De nieuwe L 507 E biedt prestaties die vergelijkbaar zijn met die van Liebherrs dieselladers in dezelfde klasse. Het belangrijkste voordeel is de werking zonder directe CO₂-uitstoot op de werklocatie, waarmee wordt voldaan aan de groeiende vraag naar decarbonisatie van industriële en recyclingactiviteiten.

Een door Liebherr speciaal ontwikkelde hoogspanningsaccu

Om de nieuwe wiellader aan te drijven, heeft Liebherr een hoogspanningsaccusysteem ontworpen dat specifiek is ontwikkeld voor de L 507 E-toepassingen. Deze technologie garandeert zowel hoge prestaties als geoptimaliseerd laden.

Afhankelijk van de bedrijfsomstandigheden kan de bedrijfstijd oplopen tot acht uur. Dankzij een modulair ontwerp kunnen klanten ook kiezen voor een tweede lithium-ionaccu om de bedrijfstijd tussen laadbeurten verder te verlengen.

De volledige laadtijd varieert tussen 1,5 en 3 uur, afhankelijk van de aanwezige technologie en het beschikbare laadvermogen.

Reactievermogen en energie-efficiëntie

De elektrische aandrijving levert direct koppel, wat zorgt voor een uitstekend reactievermogen tijdens laad- en handlingwerkzaamheden. Machinisten profiteren van dynamische werkbewegingen en een uitzonderlijk soepele bediening.

De wiellader heeft standaard een topsnelheid van 20 km/u. Optioneel is er ook een "Speeder"-versie beschikbaar, waarmee een snelheid van 30 km/u mogelijk is voor gemakkelijker transport tussen verschillende werklocaties.

Om de energie-efficiëntie te optimaliseren, is de machine voorzien van een energieterugwinningssysteem. Tijdens het remmen of afdalen wordt de opgewekte energie teruggevoerd naar de accu, waardoor de gebruiksduur wordt verlengd.

Stereo Steering-technologie voor verbeterde stabiliteit

De L 507 E is gebaseerd op de architectuur van de 68 pk Liebherr L 507 stereo-lader en behoudt het exclusieve Stereo Steering-systeem. Deze technologie combineert een centrale knik met een achteras met stuurbekrachtiging, waardoor de voordelen van traditionele knikbesturing en vierwielbesturing worden gecombineerd.

Deze configuratie maakt een extreem kleine draaicirkel mogelijk met een knikhoek van slechts 30 graden. Het resultaat: verbeterde machinestabiliteit, met name tijdens het laden en lossen van zware lasten.

Liebherr rust de L 507 E ook uit met een knikpendel-knik, ontworpen om oneffenheden in het terrein effectief te compenseren en een uitstekende stabiliteit te garanderen, zelfs op ruwe ondergrond.
