LIUGONG: ELECTRIC SILENCE ARRIVES IN NORTH AMERICA

820te 696x522924fev2 edited 1392x783Image- LiuGong

After fifteen years of testing its machines on construction sites around the world, LiuGong is going on the offensive. More than 60,000 electric machines already in operation and millions of hours of operation now constitute the weapon with which the Chinese manufacturer intends to conquer the American and Canadian markets.

The change begins almost silently.

No diesel rumble. No exhaust fumes. Only the movement of a construction machine at work.

With the launch of its battery-electric portfolio in North America, LiuGong is opening a new chapter in its history. The manufacturer arrives with a range already proven in the field: the 856HE wheel loader, the 820TE loader, the 924FE excavator, the 45-ton LRSE4531E electric reach stacker, as well as a complete family of forklifts and material handling equipment.

But LiuGong isn't presenting this offensive as an experiment.

It's the result of fifteen years of field experience.

More than 60,000 LiuGong electric machines are reportedly operational worldwide today, representing millions of hours of real-world work. Each generation has informed the next: batteries, charging, thermal management, software, diagnostics, and maintenance have all been refined through user feedback.

AN ELECTRIC MACHINE DOESN'T JUST CHANGE THE PLUG

To penetrate the US and Canadian markets, LiuGong had to rethink much more than just a connector.

Its engineers adapted the machines to North American charging standards, local electrical infrastructure, software requirements, and safety certifications, as well as to climatic conditions and dealer network practices.

The goal is simple: to make electric a working machine, not a technological demonstration.

And that's where LiuGong intends to make a big impact.

THE NEW FIGURE THAT INTERESTS FLEET MANAGERS: TCO

According to LiuGong, its electric machines can reduce operating costs by 40 to 50% compared to similar diesel models.

Less energy consumed. Less maintenance. Fewer mechanical parts subject to wear.

Over the machine's lifespan, the potential savings become more significant than simply the purchase price.

For fleet managers, the equation is changing: electrification is no longer measured solely in tons of CO₂ avoided, but in cost per hour of operation.

THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM

At the heart of this strategy is a cell-to-pack battery, combined with a liquid thermal management system.

The Battery Management System continuously monitors the state of charge, temperature, cell health, charging, diagnostics, and safety functions.

This continuous monitoring allows LiuGong to optimize performance while also seeking to extend battery life.

In other words, intelligence is no longer just in the cab.

It's in every cell.

2027: THE SECOND WAVE

The lineup unveiled today is just the first step.

LiuGong plans to introduce more electric machines in North America during 2027, as the manufacturer expands and validates its portfolio for market realities.

The real challenge, therefore, goes beyond a handful of new models.

LiuGong wants to demonstrate that technology developed and proven in Asia, Europe, and other markets can now handle the most demanding conditions in North America.

Diesel dominated construction sites for generations because it was powerful, readily available, and predictable.

LiuGong arrives with another promise:

the same workforce, but with less noise, less maintenance, and potentially, much lower costs.

The North American construction industry could soon discover a new soundtrack: silence.

LIUGONG: ELEKTRISCHE STILTE NEEMT ZIJN INTREDE IN NOORD-AMERIKA

820te 696x522924fev2 edited 1392x783Image- LiuGong
