Loxam acquiert dans le nord de la France
Image-Loxam Group’s acquisition of rental businesses Sofranel and Société Cominoise de Location will strengthen its position in the rental market in the north of France.
Le groupe Loxam a acquis les sociétés de location sœurs du nord de la France Sofranel et la Société Cominoise de Location (SCL) auprès des propriétaires actuels, membres de la famille Beyens ; Loxam a déclaré que cette décision renforce sa position dans le nord de la France. Les termes de l'accord n'ont pas été divulgués.
Sofranel et SCL exploitent deux agences situées au cœur de l'agglomération de la ville de Lille et comptent environ 70 salariés.

Créés respectivement en 1977 et 2000, Sofranel et SCL sont décrits comme des "acteurs majeurs" de la location de matériel en région Hauts-de-France.
Les entreprises sont spécialisées dans les équipements de travaux publics et ont également ajouté plus récemment des espaces modulables, la production d'électricité, l'aménagement paysager, ainsi que la location d'équipements avec opérateurs.
Olivier Grisez, directeur général de Loxam Rental France, a déclaré : « Nous sommes très heureux d'accueillir Sofranel et SCL au sein du groupe Loxam. L'empreinte géographique, les compétences des équipes et la qualité du parc de location des deux sociétés sont très bien adaptées à nos activités.
Gérard Déprez, Président de Loxam, a déclaré ; « L'acquisition de Sofranel et de SCL démontre la volonté de Loxam de renforcer encore sa position de leader sur son marché domestique, de servir ses clients à travers un réseau d'agences dense et unique, et d'élargir son offre de services par l'intégration de nouvelles compétences.
Selon un communiqué de la famille Beyens, la transaction « permet à nos équipes de rejoindre un groupe international avec un ADN entrepreneurial. La reconnaissance de notre savoir-faire et de nos spécificités, est une grande satisfaction pour la famille.

Image-Loxam Group’s acquisition of rental businesses Sofranel and Société Cominoise de Location will strengthen its position in the rental market in the north of France.
The Loxam Group has acquired northern-France sister rental businesses Sofranel and Société Cominoise de Location (SCL) from current owners, members of the Beyens family; Loxam said the move strengthens its position in the North of France. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Sofranel and SCL operate two branches located in the heart of the metropolitan area of the city of Lille and have about 70 employees.

Established respectively in 1977 and 2000, Sofranel and SCL are described as “major players” in equipment rental in the Hauts-de-France region.
The companies specialise in public works equipment and have also more recently added modular spaces, power generation, landscaping, as well as equipment rental with operators.
Olivier Grisez, Managing Director of Loxam Rental France, said: “We are very excited to welcome Sofranel and SCL into the Loxam Group. The geographical footprint, the skills of the teams and the quality of the rental fleet of both companies are a very good fit to our activities.”

A statement from the Beyens family said the transaction “enables our teams to join an international group with an entrepreneurial DNA. The recognition of our know-how and of our specificities, is a great satisfaction for the family.”

De Loxam Group heeft de Noord-Franse zusterverhuurbedrijven Sofranel en Société Cominoise de Location (SCL) overgenomen van de huidige eigenaren, leden van de familie Beyens; Loxam zei dat de verhuizing zijn positie in Noord-Frankrijk versterkt. De voorwaarden van de deal zijn niet bekendgemaakt.
Sofranel en SCL exploiteren twee vestigingen in het hart van het grootstedelijk gebied van de stad Lille en hebben ongeveer 70 medewerkers.

De bedrijven zijn gespecialiseerd in apparatuur voor openbare werken en hebben recentelijk ook modulaire ruimtes, energieopwekking, landschapsarchitectuur en verhuur van apparatuur bij operators toegevoegd.
Olivier Grisez, Managing Director van Loxam Rental France, zei: “We zijn erg verheugd om Sofranel en SCL te verwelkomen in de Loxam Group. De geografische voetafdruk, de vaardigheden van de teams en de kwaliteit van de verhuurvloot van beide bedrijven sluiten heel goed aan bij onze activiteiten.”

In een verklaring van de familie Beyens staat dat de transactie “onze teams in staat stelt zich aan te sluiten bij een internationale groep met een ondernemers-DNA. De erkenning van onze knowhow en van onze specifieke kenmerken is een grote voldoening voor de familie.”
