Avec le système de paiement numérique MAN SimplePay, les camions de MAN Truck & Bus pourront payer leur propre carburant à la station-service dès 2023. Avec le service numérique présenté à l'IAA Transportation 2022, le camion se paie automatiquement à la station-service après avoir fait le plein, le conducteur n'a plus à faire la queue à la caisse et le gestionnaire de flotte reçoit les factures de carburant numérisées en temps réel.

Même les péages, malgré de nombreux systèmes de facturation différents en Europe, deviennent désormais un service simple traité numériquement directement par le véhicule avec MAN SimplePay, quel que soit l'itinéraire de transport.

Techniquement, MAN SimplePay utilise les interfaces pour MOBILE FUELING et les services de paiement numérique déjà établis sur le marché par LOGPAY dans un cloud partagé et met les applications à la disposition du conducteur via le propre système d'infodivertissement du véhicule. La connexion au cloud est réalisée par la RIO Box installée de série dans chaque véhicule MAN. Pour le processus de paiement proprement dit lors du ravitaillement en carburant, le camion et la camionnette utilisent des cartes de carburant virtuelles fournies par LOGPAY, tandis que le traitement du péage est effectué via le matériel déjà utilisé dans le véhicule à cet effet.

Le lancement sur le marché des services de paiement de véhicules MAN SimplePay doit avoir lieu progressivement au cours de l'année 2023 pour les camions et les camionnettes MAN. L'offre doit être progressivement étendue à d'autres champs d'application pour former un écosystème numérique complet pour le paiement via le véhicule. « Grâce à notre coopération avec MAN, nous apportons pour la première fois le paiement numérique aux camions. Le paiement du processus de ravitaillement, qui est déjà possible aujourd'hui via l'application Charge&Fuel, sera alors possible directement depuis le véhicule MAN », déclare Jens Thorwarth , PDG du groupe LOGPAY.

MAN SimplePay a déjà conclu des accords pour une première opération pilote de paiement numérique du véhicule à la station-service avec la société pétrolière BP dans le cadre de l'IAA Véhicules utilitaires. Les premières flottes de camions en Angleterre pourront bientôt utiliser le nouveau service dans les stations-service BP. L'opération pilote doit être étendue à l'Allemagne début 2023. With the digital service presented at the IAA Transportation 2022, the truck automatically pays itself at the petrol station after filling up, the driver no longer has to queue at the cash desk and the fleet manager receives the digitised fuel bills in real time.

Even tolls, despite many different billing systems in Europe, now become a simple service digitally processed directly through the vehicle with MAN SimplePay, no matter where the transport route leads.

Technically, MAN SimplePay uses the interfaces for MOBILE FUELING and digital payment services already established on the market by LOGPAY in a shared cloud and makes the applications available to the driver via the vehicle's own infotainment system. The connection to the cloud is realised by the RIO Box installed as standard in every MAN vehicle. For the actual payment process when refueling, the truck and van use virtual fuel cards provided by LOGPAY, while toll processing is carried out via the hardware already used in the vehicle for this purpose.

The market launch of the MAN SimplePay vehicle payment services is to take place gradually in the course of 2023 for MAN trucks and vans. The offer is to be successively expanded through further application scopes to form a comprehensive digital ecosystem for payment through the vehicle. "Through our cooperation with MAN, we are bringing digital payment to trucks for the first time. The payment of the refueling process, which is already possible today via the Charge&Fuel APP, will then be possible directly from the MAN vehicle," says Jens Thorwarth, CEO of the LOGPAY Group.

MAN SimplePay has already concluded agreements for a first pilot operation for digital payment of the vehicle at the petrol station with the mineral oil company BP within the framework of the IAA Commercial Vehicles. The first truck fleets in England will soon be able to use the new service at BP filling stations. The pilot operation is to be extended to Germany at the beginning of 2023. The MAN SimplePay service portfolio will be fully available from autumn 2023.

Met het digitale betalingssysteem MAN SimplePay kunnen vrachtwagens van MAN Truck & Bus vanaf 2023 hun eigen brandstof bij het tankstation betalen. En in de toekomst wordt de bestelwagen MAN TGE ook een digitale portemonnee voor het tanken, tolgelden en andere betalingstransacties met betrekking tot het gebruik van voertuigen. Hiervoor is MAN sinds kort een samenwerking aangegaan met LOGPAY, de specialist voor digitale betaaldiensten, die al girale betalingen met de MAN Card mogelijk maakt bij tankstations en MAN-werkplaatsen in heel Europa.

Met de op de IAA Transport 2022 gepresenteerde digitale service rekent de vrachtwagen zichzelf na het tanken automatisch af bij het tankstation, hoeft de chauffeur niet meer in de rij te staan bij de kassa en ontvangt de wagenparkbeheerder de gedigitaliseerde brandstofrekeningen in real time.

Zelfs tol wordt met MAN SimplePay, ondanks de vele verschillende factureringssystemen in Europa, nu een eenvoudige service die digitaal direct via het voertuig wordt verwerkt, ongeacht waar de transportroute naartoe leidt.

Technisch gezien gebruikt MAN SimplePay de interfaces voor MOBILE FUELING en digitale betaaldiensten die al door LOGPAY op de markt zijn gebracht in een gedeelde cloud en stelt de applicaties via het eigen infotainmentsysteem van het voertuig ter beschikking van de bestuurder. De verbinding met de cloud wordt gerealiseerd door de RIO Box die standaard in elk MAN-voertuig is geïnstalleerd. Voor het eigenlijke betaalproces bij het tanken gebruiken de vrachtwagen en het busje virtuele tankkaarten die door LOGPAY ter beschikking worden gesteld, terwijl de tolverwerking wordt uitgevoerd via de hardware die hiervoor al in het voertuig wordt gebruikt.

De marktintroductie van de MAN SimplePay voertuigbetaaldiensten zal in de loop van 2023 geleidelijk plaatsvinden voor MAN vrachtwagens en bestelwagens. Het aanbod zal achtereenvolgens worden uitgebreid met verdere toepassingsgebieden om een uitgebreid digitaal ecosysteem voor betaling via het voertuig te vormen. "Door onze samenwerking met MAN brengen we voor het eerst digitale betaling naar vrachtwagens. Binnenkort kunnen de eerste vrachtwagenparken in Engeland gebruik maken van de nieuwe service bij BP-tankstations. De proefoperatie wordt begin 2023 uitgebreid naar Duitsland. Het MAN SimplePay-serviceportfolio zal vanaf het najaar van 2023 volledig beschikbaar zijn.
