Le groupe Manitou annonce l'acquisition de 82% du capital d'easyLi, spécialiste de la conception et de la production de batteries lithium-ion.

Fondée en 2011, la société française easyLi fabrique et entretient des systèmes de batteries lithium-ion pour la mobilité électrique et des solutions stationnaires de stockage d'énergie. Elle compte 25 salariés et est basée à Poitiers, quartier d'affaires du Futuroscope.

Cette opération confère au groupe des compétences spécifiques dans le cadre de sa transition énergétique, précise l'entreprise, et élargira ainsi ses capacités en R&D concernant la production et le reconditionnement des batteries. Michel Denis, président-directeur général du Groupe, a expliqué : « L'expertise d'easyLi ajoute une valeur substantielle à notre organisation. En internalisant cette expertise, nous allons pouvoir étudier en profondeur les interactions machine-batterie et ainsi continuer à réduire le coût total de possession pour nos utilisateurs. Cette opération s'inscrit dans notre plan de recherche et développement pour accélérer notre transition énergétique.

François Barsacq, fondateur et PDG d'easyLi, a ajouté : « Nous sommes fiers de rejoindre le groupe Manitou. Manitou Group has announced the acquisition of an 82% stake in easyLi, a specialist in the design and production of lithium-ion batteries.

Founded in 2011, France-based easyLi manufactures and maintains lithium-ion battery systems for electric mobility and stationary energy storage solutions. It has 25 employees and is based in the Poitiers, Futuroscope business district.

This transaction gives the group specific skills in the context of its energy transition, said the company, and as a result it will expand its capabilties in R&D concerning the production and reconditioning of batteries. Michel Denis, president and CEO of the Group, explained, “easyLi’s expertise adds substantial value to our organisation. By internalising this expertise, we are going to be able to study machine-battery interactions in depth and thus continue to reduce total cost of ownership for our users. This operation is in keeping with our research and development plan to accelerate our energy transition.”

François Barsacq, founder and CEO of easyLi, added, “We are proud to be joining Manitou Group. Manitou Group heeft de overname aangekondigd van een belang van 82% in easyLi, een specialist in het ontwerp en de productie van lithium-ionbatterijen.

Het in Frankrijk gevestigde easyLi, opgericht in 2011, produceert en onderhoudt lithium-ionbatterijsystemen voor elektrische mobiliteit en stationaire energieopslagoplossingen. Het heeft 25 werknemers en is gevestigd in de zakenwijk Poitiers, Futuroscope.

Deze transactie geeft de groep specifieke vaardigheden in het kader van zijn energietransitie, aldus het bedrijf, en zal bijgevolg zijn capaciteiten in R&D rond de productie en reconditionering van batterijen uitbreiden. Michel Denis, president en CEO van de Groep, legt uit: “De expertise van easyLi voegt substantiële waarde toe aan onze organisatie. Door deze expertise te internaliseren, kunnen we de interactie tussen machine en batterij diepgaand bestuderen en zo de totale eigendomskosten voor onze gebruikers blijven verlagen.
