L’Association Belge de la Location de Matériel (BERA) a été fondée début juillet. Les initiateurs sont une vingtaine de loueurs belges qui ont exprimé leur soutien à cette initiative. La création effective de BERA a été concrétisée par les bénévoles de Loxam, Boels, Heli, Key-Tec, Wim Verhuur, Marchandise, Huurland et Hermans Heftrucks.

La vision de BERA est de devenir la principale voix et catalyseur des sociétés de location de machines en Belgique, en créant une valeur ajoutée durable pour les membres et les parties prenantes grâce à la collaboration.
BERA donne une voix au secteur et s'efforcera de garantir que les politiques prennent en compte les intérêts des loueurs de machines.

Outre l'organisation de réunions de réseautage social, les informations du secteur seront activement partagées avec les membres. En outre, des groupes de travail aborderont des sujets tels que la durabilité, l'innovation, la réglementation et la sécurité, dans le but de parvenir à des pratiques communes et d'influencer l'élaboration des politiques.

En tant que fédération belge, BERA deviendra également membre de l'Association Européenne de Location ERA.

La présentation officielle de l'Association Belge de la Location de Matériel aura lieu le 7 septembre à MatExpo.

The Belgian Equipment Rental Association (BERA) was founded at the beginning of July. The initiators are some 20 Belgian rental companies who expressed their support for this initiative. The effective creation of BERA was concretised by volunteers from Loxam, Boels, Heli, Key-Tec, Wim Verhuur, Marchandise, Huurland and Hermans Heftrucks.

BERA's vision is to become the leading voice and catalyst for machine rental companies in Belgium, by achieving sustainable added value for members and stakeholders through collaboration.
BERA gives the sector a voice and will strive to ensure policies take the interests of machine lessors into account.

Besides organising social networking meetings, sector information will be actively shared with members. In addition, working groups will address topics such as sustainability, innovation, regulation and safety, with the aim of reaching common practices, and weighing on policy-making.

As a Belgian federation, BERA will also become a member of the European Rental Association ERA.

The official presentation of the Belgian Equipment Rental Association will take place on 7 September at MatExpo.

NIEUW-Oprichting van de Belgian Equipment Rental Association (BERA)

Begin juli werd de Belgian Equipment Rental Association (BERA) opgericht. De initiatiefnemers zijn een twintigtal Belgische verhuurbedrijven die hun steun betuigden aan dit initiatief. De effectieve totstandkoming van BERA werd geconcretiseerd door vrijwilligers van Loxam, Boels, Heli, Key-Tec, Wim Verhuur, Marchandise, Huurland en Hermans Heftrucks.

De visie van BERA is om de leidende stem en katalysator te worden voor machineverhuurbedrijven in België, door door samenwerking duurzame meerwaarde te realiseren voor leden en stakeholders.
BERA geeft de sector een stem en zal ernaar streven dat het beleid rekening houdt met de belangen van machineverhuurders.

Naast het organiseren van sociale netwerkbijeenkomsten wordt sectorinformatie actief gedeeld met de leden. Daarnaast zullen werkgroepen zich bezighouden met onderwerpen als duurzaamheid, innovatie, regelgeving en veiligheid, met als doel gemeenschappelijke praktijken te bereiken en de beleidsvorming te beïnvloeden.

Als Belgische federatie zal BERA ook lid worden van de Europese Verhuurvereniging ERA.
