TDG, Terminal Del Golfo, qui fait partie du groupe Tarros, a commandé une grue portuaire mobile Konecranes Gottwald de génération 6 éco-efficace pour son exploitation à La Spezia, dans le nord-ouest de l'Italie. La grue représente la toute dernière technologie de grue portuaire mobile : elle sera équipée d'une alimentation électrique externe qui réduit les coûts d'exploitation tout en réduisant le bruit et les émissions d'échappement. La commande a été enregistrée en juillet 2022 et la grue sera livrée au premier trimestre 2023.
La nouvelle grue de génération 6 augmentera la capacité et améliorera la flexibilité du terminal. Il peut gérer des conteneurs, des marchandises générales et des cargaisons lourdes de projet, et son alimentation électrique externe augmentera à la fois les performances opérationnelles et réduira les émissions de carbone locales. Lorsqu'elle est débranchée, la grue utilise un entraînement hybride, composé d'un moteur diesel EU Stage V associé à des supercondensateurs remplis par l'énergie d'abaissement et de freinage.
La grue travaillera au Terminal del Golfo (TDG), un terminal à conteneurs et polyvalent de La Spezia. TDG est exploité par Tarros Group, un opérateur portuaire disposant d'un réseau de dépôts et de terminaux dans toute la région méditerranéenne.

La grue est la première grue portuaire mobile de génération 6 de TDG. La décision d'en acheter une a été prise en charge par le MHC Product Advisor de Konecranes, un outil virtuel qui aide les opérateurs à trouver la bonne grue mobile portuaire. La grue disposera de fonctionnalités intelligentes telles que la lubrification automatique pour réduire les travaux de maintenance, une échelle de secours sur le mur de la tour pour plus de sécurité et des services numériques qui rationalisent le fonctionnement conformément au plan national italien Industrie 4.0, une stratégie nationale qui encourage l'innovation industrielle.

TDG, Terminal Del Golfo, part of Tarros Group, has ordered an eco-efficient Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane for their operation in La Spezia, in northwestern Italy. The crane represents the latest in mobile harbor crane technology: it will be equipped with an external power supply that lowers operating costs while reducing noise and exhaust emissions. The order was booked in July 2022 and the crane will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023.
The new Generation 6 crane will increase capacity and improve flexibility at the terminal. It can handle containers, general cargo and heavy project cargo, and its external power supply will raise both operational performance and reduce local carbon emissions. When unplugged the crane uses a hybrid drive, consisting of an EU Stage V diesel engine paired with ultracapacitors refilled by lowering and braking energy.
The crane will work at Terminal del Golfo (TDG), a container and multipurpose terminal in La Spezia. TDG is operated by Tarros Group, a port operator with a network of depots and terminals across the Mediterranean region.
“We are excited to utilize the latest eco-efficient mobile harbor crane technology to support our terminal enlargement project in La Spezia. We were convinced by the combination of productivity, flexibility and eco-efficiency that the Generation 6 offers,” says Andrea Natale, Terminal Manager at TDG.
The crane is TDG’s first Generation 6 mobile harbor crane. The decision to purchase one was supported by Konecranes’ MHC Product Advisor, a virtual tool that helps operators find the right mobile harbor crane. The crane will have smart features such as automatic lubrication to reduce maintenance work, an emergency ladder on the tower wall for added safety, and digital services that streamline operation in line with Italy’s National Industry 4.0 Plan, a state strategy that encourages industrial innovation.

TDG, Terminal Del Golfo, onderdeel van Tarros Group, heeft een eco-efficiënte Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald mobiele havenkraan besteld voor hun operatie in La Spezia, in het noordwesten van Italië. De kraan vertegenwoordigt de nieuwste technologie op het gebied van mobiele havenkranen: hij zal worden uitgerust met een externe stroomvoorziening die de bedrijfskosten verlaagt en tegelijkertijd het geluid en de uitlaatemissies vermindert. De order is geboekt in juli 2022 en de kraan wordt in het eerste kwartaal van 2023 geleverd.
De nieuwe Generation 6-kraan zal de capaciteit vergroten en de flexibiliteit op de terminal vergroten. Het kan containers, stukgoederen en zware projectlading verwerken, en de externe stroomvoorziening zal zowel de operationele prestaties verhogen als de lokale koolstofemissies verminderen. Wanneer de kraan niet is aangesloten, gebruikt de kraan een hybride aandrijving, bestaande uit een EU Stage V-dieselmotor in combinatie met ultracondensatoren die worden bijgevuld door verlaging en remenergie.
De kraan gaat werken op Terminal del Golfo (TDG), een container- en multifunctionele terminal in La Spezia. TDG wordt beheerd door Tarros Group, een havenexploitant met een netwerk van depots en terminals in het Middellandse Zeegebied.
