Cette cisaille a été modernisée suite aux retours clients et au travail des techniciens NPC sur le terrain afin d'améliorer la sécurité, l'efficacité et les performances.

La dernière version de la cisailleuse NPC MultiBar est disponible en trois tailles : la petite MultiBar de 450 kg pour les pieux de 20 à 30 cm ; la MultiBar standard de 550 kg pour les pieux de 20 à 30 cm ; et la grande MultiBar de 600 kg pour les pieux de 30 à 35 cm.

« Bien que les premières cisailles multibarres aient été des cisailles préfabriquées originales, nous avons continuellement perfectionné et développé la cisailleuse NPC MultiBar au fil des ans et sommes aujourd'hui heureux d'annoncer le lancement de la toute dernière cisaille de pieux multibarres à la pointe de la technologie », a déclaré Lee Aston, directeur de NPC.

Cette dernière version n'est pas le fruit de notre seule collaboration. Nous avons collaboré étroitement avec certaines des plus grandes entreprises de génie civil au monde pour ajouter des fonctionnalités qui rendent le MultiBar plus sûr, plus efficace et plus productif que jamais.

Je tiens également à remercier nos techniciens sur le terrain, qui ont recueilli leurs retours d'expérience directement sur le terrain. Ce partenariat unique nous a permis de proposer des solutions de haute qualité, dotées des fonctionnalités indispensables aux cultures sur le terrain. Bien que le MultiBar ait connu de nombreuses étapes de développement, le coupe-pieux fonctionne toujours de la même manière. Il est abaissé sur le pieu en béton, qui est ensuite réduit à intervalles de 250 mm, ce qui permet d'enlever les sections brisées. La clé d'une utilisation productive et efficace est de garantir une coupe d'au moins 250 mm au niveau de finition afin d'obtenir une coupe de qualité.

« Le coupe-pieux est optimisé pour une excavatrice d'au moins 6 tonnes, et selon la version choisie, pèse 450 kg, 550 kg ou 600 kg. » « Cela signifie qu'il est suffisamment compact pour être très maniable, tout en étant suffisamment robuste pour venir à bout des pieux préfabriqués les plus résistants, avec quatre barres d'armature ou plus », a déclaré Lee.

Pour offrir une machine de coupe plus efficace, NPC a tenu compte des retours de ses clients et de ses techniciens et a identifié la nécessité d'un encombrement et d'un poids en ordre de marche réduits pour la MultiBar.

« Nous pensons avoir non seulement atteint cet objectif, mais notre nouvelle conception a également permis d'adapter la nouvelle forme de la MultiBar, facilitant ainsi les opérations à proximité des pieux, tout en protégeant les vérins et les flexibles hydrauliques pour éviter tout dommage. Parallèlement, nous avons simplifié sa réparation », a ajouté Lee.

« La MultiBar bénéficie également d'une nouvelle gamme de burins spécialement fabriqués en interne, conçus non seulement pour pénétrer le pieu, mais aussi pour obtenir une finition parfaite avec un nettoyage minimal, voire nul. Les nouveaux burins fragmentent efficacement le béton et permettent de soulever facilement l'unité coupée du pieu, ce qui permet de retirer et de recycler le béton coupé en toute sécurité. » Le nouveau MultiBar a déjà fait l'objet de tests pratiques approfondis et concluants. Il est désormais disponible au Royaume-Uni et sera commercialisé dans le monde entier dans les prochains mois.

NPC upgrades its MultiBar pile cropper

The pile cropper has been upgraded based on feedback from customers and work by NPC technicians in the field to improve safety, efficiency and performance.

The launch of the latest version of the NPC MultiBar cropper is available in three sizes: the 450-kg small MultiBar for 20 cm to 30 cm piles; the 550-kg MultiBar standard for 20 cm to 30 cm piles; and the large 600-kg MultiBar for 30 to 35 cm piles.

“Although the first multi bar croppers were the original pre-cast pile cropper, over the years we have continually refined and developed the NPC MultiBar cropper and now are pleased to announce the release of the very latest in state of the art multi bar pile cropping,” said NPC Director Lee Aston.

“The latest iteration is not just our own work. We’ve worked closely with some of the biggest civil engineering companies in the world to add features that makes the MultiBar safer, more efficient and more productive than ever.

“I also need to thank our technicians in the field as they’ve channelled feedback directly based on their real-world site experiences. Its this unique partnership that has enabled us to deliver high quality manufactured solutions with the features that are really required when cropping in the field.”

Although the MultiBar has gone through many development stages, the pile cropper still works in the same manner. It its lowered over the concrete pile, which is then reduced at 250 mm intervals enabling broken pile sections to be removed. The key to productive and efficient use is to ensure that the last bite at the finish level is of at least 250 mm to ensure a good cut is obtained.  

“The cropper is best used by an excavator of at least 6 tonnes, and depending on the variant chosen, weighs either 450 kg , 550 kg or 600 kg. This all means that it’s small enough to be highly manoeuvrable but has the substance to deal with the toughest of precast piles with four or more reinforcement rebar,” Lee said.

To provide a more efficient cropper, NPC used the feedback from customers and technicians and identified the MultiBar needed to have a reduced footprint and operating weight.

“We believe we have not only done this, but our redesign has also enabled the new MultiBar shape to evolve allowing easier operation around piles in close proximity whilst also providing protection for the hydraulic cylinders and hoses to avoid damage. At the same time, we have made it easier to repair,” Lee said.

“The MultiBar further benefits from a new range of specifically in-house manufactured chisels, designed with the purpose to not only penetrate the pile, but to leave a perfect finish with little or no tidying up. The new chisels effectively break up the concrete into pieces, and furthermore, the cropped unit can then easily be lifted off the pile enabling the removal and recycling of the cut away concrete in a safe manner.”

The New MultiBar has already been subject to extensive and successful field testing. It is now available in the United Kingdom and will be introduced globally in the coming months.

De nieuwe beitels breken het beton effectief in stukken en bovendien kan de afgezaagde eenheid vervolgens gemakkelijk van de paal worden getild, waardoor het weggesneden beton veilig kan worden verwijderd en gerecycled."

De nieuwe MultiBar is al uitgebreid en succesvol getest in de praktijk. Hij is nu verkrijgbaar in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en zal de komende maanden wereldwijd worden geïntroduceerd.
