Vous vous êtes déjà demandé à quoi ressemble l’Union Jack lorsqu’il croise nos emblématiques couleurs orange et gris ?
Plus besoin d’imaginer : c’est désormais une réalité bien vivante. Ce mois-ci, notre tout nouveau camion britannique a officiellement pris la route, marquant une étape importante dans l’expansion de nos services au Royaume-Uni.

Un pas de plus pour Hull

Depuis des années, notre site de Hull assure avec fiabilité des prestations de 4PL, des opérations portuaires et terminales, ainsi que des solutions de stockage. Aujourd’hui, nous franchissons un nouveau cap : la mise en service d’un camion dédié aux transports spéciaux et lourds.
Ce projet, mûri au fil de mois de préparation minutieuse, symbolise l’engagement et la détermination de nos équipes. Une belle réussite que nous sommes fiers de partager !

Conçu, renforcé, et taillé pour les missions les plus exigeantes

Au cœur de cette nouveauté : un DAF XF 530, fabriqué au Royaume-Uni et livré par un concessionnaire local de Hull. Conformément aux standards britanniques, il est équipé de l’ensemble des dispositifs de sécurité nécessaires pour affronter les routes du pays.

Puis est venue la deuxième étape de son voyage : la traversée vers les Pays-Bas. Là, il a reçu les modifications sur mesure indispensables au transport spécial et lourd.
Parmi ces transformations :

un système d’attelage entièrement repensé pour s’adapter aux (semi-)portes-char européens,

l’installation d’un fifth wheel de 65 000 kg, à la fois réglable en hauteur et coulissant, offrant une polyvalence maximale selon les besoins de chaque opération.

Résultat : un camion robuste, agile et prêt à relever les défis du terrain, des convois atypiques aux charges les plus massives.

Une nouvelle pièce maîtresse dans le réseau Van der Vlist

Concentré sur les trajets à travers le Royaume-Uni, ce camion joue désormais un rôle clé dans la connexion avec notre réseau européen. Grâce à la synchronisation de nos opérations, il peut récupérer aussi bien des remorques chargées que des machines non accompagnées dans les ports britanniques.
L’objectif ? Assurer une continuité parfaite dans les transports transfrontaliers, du Royaume-Uni vers l’Europe – et inversement.

Avec ce nouveau venu sur les routes, notre réseau se renforce, notre présence s’affirme, et une nouvelle page s’ouvre dans l’histoire du groupe. Et ce n’est qu’un début.

A new adventure begins!

Have you ever wondered what the Union Jack looks like when it crosses our iconic orange and gray colors? No need to imagine it anymore: it's now a living reality. This month, our brand-new British truck officially hit the road, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of our services in the UK.

Another step forward for Hull

For years, our Hull site has reliably provided 4PL services, port and terminal operations, and warehousing solutions. Today, we're taking another step forward: the commissioning of a truck dedicated to special and heavy transport.
This project, the result of months of meticulous preparation, symbolizes the commitment and determination of our teams. A great achievement that we are proud to share!

Designed, reinforced, and built for the most demanding missions

At the heart of this new addition: a DAF XF 530, manufactured in the UK and delivered by a local Hull dealer. In accordance with British standards, it is equipped with all the necessary safety features to tackle the country's roads.

Then came the second leg of its journey: the crossing to the Netherlands. There, it received the bespoke modifications essential for special and heavy transport.

These modifications included:

a completely redesigned coupling system to adapt to European (semi-)tank transporters,

the installation of a 65,000 kg fifth wheel, both height-adjustable and sliding, offering maximum versatility to suit the needs of each operation.

The result: a robust, agile truck, ready to take on the challenges of the terrain, from unusual convoys to the heaviest loads.

A new centerpiece in the Van der Vlist network

Focused on journeys across the United Kingdom, this truck now plays a key role in connecting with our European network. Thanks to the synchronization of our operations, it can pick up both loaded trailers and unaccompanied machinery in British ports.

The goal? To ensure seamless cross-border transport from the UK to Europe – and vice versa.

With this new addition to the network, our presence is strengthened, our network is reinforced, and a new chapter begins in the group's history. And this is just the beginning.

Heeft u zich ooit afgevraagd hoe de Union Jack eruitziet wanneer hij onze iconische oranje en grijze kleuren kruist? U hoeft het zich niet meer voor te stellen: het is nu een levende realiteit. Deze maand is onze gloednieuwe Britse truck officieel de weg op gegaan, een belangrijke mijlpaal in de uitbreiding van onze diensten in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.

Weer een stap vooruit voor Hull

Onze vestiging in Hull biedt al jaren betrouwbare 4PL-diensten, haven- en terminalactiviteiten en warehousingoplossingen. Vandaag zetten we een nieuwe stap voorwaarts: de ingebruikname van een truck speciaal voor speciaal en zwaar transport.
Dit project, het resultaat van maandenlange minutieuze voorbereiding, symboliseert de inzet en vastberadenheid van onze teams. Een geweldige prestatie die we met trots delen!

Ontworpen, versterkt en gebouwd voor de meest veeleisende missies

Het hart van deze nieuwe aanwinst: een DAF XF 530, geproduceerd in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en geleverd door een lokale Hull-dealer. Conform de Britse normen is hij uitgerust met alle noodzakelijke veiligheidsvoorzieningen om de Britse wegen te trotseren.

Daarna volgde het tweede deel van de reis: de oversteek naar Nederland. Daar onderging hij de op maat gemaakte aanpassingen die essentieel zijn voor speciaal en zwaar transport.

Deze aanpassingen omvatten:

een volledig vernieuwd koppelsysteem voor Europese (semi-)tankwagens,

de installatie van een koppelschotel van 65.000 kg, zowel in hoogte verstelbaar als verschuifbaar, voor maximale veelzijdigheid om aan de behoeften van elke operatie te voldoen.

Het resultaat: een robuuste, wendbare truck, klaar om de uitdagingen van het terrein aan te gaan, van ongebruikelijke konvooien tot de zwaarste ladingen.

Een nieuw middelpunt in het Van der Vlist-netwerk

Deze truck, gericht op ritten door het Verenigd Koninkrijk, speelt nu een belangrijke rol in de verbinding met ons Europese netwerk. Dankzij de synchronisatie van onze activiteiten kan hij zowel beladen trailers als onbegeleide machines ophalen in Britse havens.

Het doel? Om naadloos grensoverschrijdend transport van het VK naar Europa te garanderen – en vice versa.

Met deze nieuwe toevoeging aan het netwerk versterken we onze aanwezigheid, versterken we ons netwerk en begint er een nieuw hoofdstuk in de geschiedenis van de groep. En dit is nog maar het begin.
