Point of Rental s'étend au Canada

Point of Rental fait passer sa relation avec ses utilisateurs canadiens à un niveau supérieur : l'entreprise établit une présence officielle sur le terrain au Canada.

Ben Sinclair, qui a rejoint Point of Rental en 2019 après plus d'une décennie d'expérience de travail dans le magasin de location de sa famille en Australie, a déménagé au Canada le 10 janvier. Il a depuis été rejoint par un nouvel ingénieur de solutions, Irfan Ahmed, qui a commencé avec la société le 7 février.

Après quelques années de problèmes de voyage liés à la pandémie entre les États-Unis et le Canada, l'entreprise a décidé qu'elle devait établir un centre d'opérations canadien pour se concentrer sur sa vaste base d'utilisateurs canadiens. Au fur et à mesure que l'unité basée à Toronto grandit, l'équipe espère approfondir la relation de Point of Rental avec l'industrie de la location du pays dans son ensemble.

"Notre objectif au cours des six prochains mois est d'aller voir les clients, de voir comment leur entreprise se porte et comment ils utilisent Point of Rental", a déclaré Ben. "Au fur et à mesure que nous construisons l'équipe et que nous embauchons plus de personnes, nous aurons des gens à qui ils parleront régulièrement, directement."

Irfan rejoint le secteur de la location pour la première fois, bien qu'il ait une formation en génie civil et en logiciel. Il parle aussi couramment l'anglais et le français, ce qui lui permet de travailler avec des utilisateurs partout au Canada.

L'équipe sera présente à Quebexpo en mars 2022, et à mesure que les événements de l'industrie rouvrent et que les restrictions s'assouplissent, ils ont hâte de rencontrer les personnes qui font avancer l'industrie canadienne de la location.

Point of Rental expands into Canada

Point of Rental is taking its relationship with its Canadian users to the next level: The company is establishing an official on-the-ground presence in Canada.

Ben Sinclair, who joined Point of Rental in 2019 after more than a decade of experience working at his family’s rental store in Australia, moved to Canada on Jan. 10. He’s since been joined by a new solutions engineer, Irfan Ahmed, who started with the company on Feb. 7.

After a couple of years of pandemic-related travel issues between the U.S. and Canada, the company decided it needed to establish a Canadian centre of operations to focus on its considerable Canadian user base. As the Toronto-based unit grows, the team hopes to deepen Point of Rental’s relationship with the country’s rental industry as a whole.

“Our goal over the next six months is to go out and see customers, see how their business is going and how they’re using Point of Rental,” Ben said. “As we build the team and we bring more people on, we’ll have people they speak to on a regular basis, directly.”

Irfan is joining the rental industry for the first time, although he has a background in both civil engineering and software. He also is fluent in both English and French, allowing him to work with users throughout Canada.

The team will be attending Quebexpo in March 2022, and as industry events open back up and restrictions ease, they’re looking forward to meeting the people that drive the Canadian rental industry forward.

Point of Rental breidt uit naar Canada

Point of Rental tilt de relatie met zijn Canadese gebruikers naar een hoger niveau: het bedrijf vestigt een officiële aanwezigheid ter plaatse in Canada.

Ben Sinclair, die in 2019 bij Point of Rental kwam werken na meer dan tien jaar ervaring in de verhuurwinkel van zijn familie in Australië, verhuisde op 10 januari naar Canada. het bedrijf op 7 februari.

Na een paar jaar van pandemische reisproblemen tussen de VS en Canada, besloot het bedrijf dat het een Canadees operatiecentrum moest opzetten om zich te concentreren op zijn aanzienlijke Canadese gebruikersbestand. Naarmate de in Toronto gevestigde unit groeit, hoopt het team de relatie van Point of Rental met de verhuursector van het land als geheel te verdiepen.

"Ons doel voor de komende zes maanden is om klanten te zien, te zien hoe hun bedrijf gaat en hoe ze Point of Rental gebruiken", zei Ben. "Terwijl we het team opbouwen en we meer mensen aantrekken, zullen we mensen hebben met wie ze regelmatig en rechtstreeks spreken."

Irfan komt voor het eerst in de verhuurbranche, hoewel hij een achtergrond heeft in zowel civiele techniek als software. Hij spreekt ook vloeiend Engels en Frans, waardoor hij met gebruikers in heel Canada kan werken.

Het team zal in maart 2022 aanwezig zijn op Quebexpo, en naarmate branche-evenementen weer opengaan en de beperkingen versoepelen, kijken ze ernaar uit om de mensen te ontmoeten die de Canadese verhuursector vooruit helpen.
