À Barcelone, ADEC Global relève un défi que peu d’entreprises oseraient affronter : transformer un matériau réputé destructeur pour les machines – le laitier noir hautement abrasif – en granulats de haute qualité pour la construction routière. Et pour accomplir cette mission, deux alliés de taille : le concasseur à percussion MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 et le cribleur MOBISCREEN MSS 802 EVO signés Kleemann.

Un matériau exigeant, une solution sur mesure
Chaque année, ADEC Global traite environ 500 000 tonnes de matériaux. La moitié provient directement des aciéries : un laitier noir lourdement chargé en particules métalliques. Ce résidu, autrefois destiné aux décharges, est désormais transformé en ressource précieuse.
Ce processus n’a pas été improvisé. En partenariat avec EMSA, distributeur local du Wirtgen Group, Kleemann a mis au point une chaîne de traitement capable de résister à l’usure extrême du laitier. L’élément clé : des barres de percussion à la durabilité exceptionnelle, capables de tenir face à l’abrasion continue.

Le cœur de l’opération
Depuis 2018, le MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 est la pièce maîtresse du dispositif. Robuste et endurant, il affiche déjà plus de 10 000 heures de fonctionnement. Capable d’avaler des blocs de 200 mm, il délivre jusqu’à 200 tonnes par heure, tout en consommant seulement 19 litres de carburant par heure. Un séparateur magnétique intégré extrait les métaux ferreux, réexpédiés ensuite vers les fonderies pour une seconde vie.
Pour compléter le processus, le cribleur MOBISCREEN MSS 802 EVO nettoie le matériau, prêt à devenir granulats pour l’enrobé. Grâce à sa motorisation bi-énergie, il pourra un jour fonctionner entièrement à l’électricité, réduisant ainsi les émissions locales de CO₂ à zéro.

Résistance et performance
« Peu de machines peuvent encaisser un tel traitement », confie Oscar Hernandez, responsable matériel et logistique chez ADEC Global. « Le laitier contient des fragments métalliques que la plupart des concasseurs ne supporteraient pas. Le nôtre, lui, continue de tourner sans faiblir. »
Ce résultat est le fruit d’un dialogue constant entre les équipes techniques d’ADEC Global et les spécialistes Kleemann, cherchant ensemble l’équilibre parfait entre rendement, longévité des pièces et qualité finale.

Du déchet à la route
Le produit fini, aux formes parfaitement cubiques, répond aux exigences strictes de l’enrobé routier, garantissant adhérence et sécurité, même sous la pluie. « Ce qui compte au final, c’est la qualité », résume Maria Vazquez, directrice des opérations chez ADEC Global. « Nous prouvons qu’un recyclage intelligent peut non seulement préserver les ressources, mais aussi maintenir des standards de qualité élevés. »

De l’acier au bitume, en passant par un processus conçu sur mesure, ADEC Global montre que, même face aux matériaux les plus coriaces, l’innovation peut tracer la voie… au sens propre.

In Barcelona, ADEC Global is taking on a challenge few companies would dare: transforming a material known to be destructive to machinery—highly abrasive black slag—into high-quality aggregates for road construction. And to accomplish this mission, it relies on two powerful allies: the MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 impact crusher and the MOBISCREEN MSS 802 EVO screening machine from Kleemann.

A Challenging Material, a Tailor-Made Solution
Every year, ADEC Global processes approximately 500,000 tons of material. Half of it comes directly from steel mills: black slag heavily laden with metal particles. This residue, once destined for landfills, is now transformed into a valuable resource.
This process was not improvised. In partnership with EMSA, a local Wirtgen Group distributor, Kleemann developed a processing line capable of withstanding the extreme wear of slag. The key element: exceptionally durable impact bars, capable of withstanding continuous abrasion.

The heart of the operation
Since 2018, the MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 has been the centerpiece of the system. Robust and durable, it has already logged more than 10,000 hours of operation. Capable of swallowing 200 mm blocks, it delivers up to 200 tons per hour, while consuming only 19 liters of fuel per hour. An integrated magnetic separator extracts ferrous metals, which are then sent back to the foundries for a second life.
To complete the process, the MOBISCREEN MSS 802 EVO screener cleans the material, ready to become aggregates for asphalt. Thanks to its dual-energy engine, it will one day be able to run entirely on electricity, reducing local CO₂ emissions to zero.

Durability and Performance
"Few machines can withstand such treatment," says Oscar Hernandez, Equipment and Logistics Manager at ADEC Global. "The slag contains metal fragments that most crushers wouldn't tolerate. Ours continues to run unabated."
This result is the result of constant dialogue between ADEC Global's technical teams and Kleemann specialists, working together to find the perfect balance between efficiency, component longevity, and final quality.

From Waste to Road
The finished product, with its perfectly cubic shapes, meets the strict requirements of road surfacing, guaranteeing grip and safety, even in the rain. "What matters in the end is quality," summarizes Maria Vazquez, Director of Operations at ADEC Global. "We are proving that smart recycling can not only conserve resources, but also maintain high quality standards." »

In Barcelona gaat ADEC Global een uitdaging aan die maar weinig bedrijven zouden aandurven: het transformeren van een materiaal waarvan bekend is dat het destructief is voor machines – zeer abrasieve zwarte slakken – tot hoogwaardige aggregaten voor de wegenbouw. Om deze missie te volbrengen, vertrouwt het op twee krachtige bondgenoten: de MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 impactbreker en de MOBISCREEN MSS 802 EVO zeefmachine van Kleemann.

Een uitdagend materiaal, een oplossing op maat
ADEC Global verwerkt jaarlijks ongeveer 500.000 ton materiaal. De helft daarvan komt rechtstreeks van staalfabrieken: zwarte slakken die zwaar beladen zijn met metaaldeeltjes. Dit residu, ooit bestemd voor stortplaatsen, wordt nu omgezet in een waardevolle grondstof.
Dit proces is niet geïmproviseerd. In samenwerking met EMSA, een lokale distributeur van de Wirtgen Group, ontwikkelde Kleemann een verwerkingslijn die bestand is tegen de extreme slijtage van slakken. Het belangrijkste element: uitzonderlijk duurzame slagstaven, bestand tegen continue slijtage.

Het hart van de operatie
Sinds 2018 vormt de MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 het hart van het systeem. Robuust en duurzaam, heeft hij al meer dan 10.000 bedrijfsuren op de teller staan. Hij kan blokken van 200 mm verwerken en levert tot 200 ton per uur, met een brandstofverbruik van slechts 19 liter per uur. Een geïntegreerde magneetscheider extraheert ferrometalen, die vervolgens teruggaan naar de gieterijen voor een tweede leven.

Van staal tot asfalt, inclusief een op maat ontworpen proces, ADEC Global laat zien dat innovatie, zelfs bij de zwaarste materialen, letterlijk de weg kan wijzen.
