HD Hyundai Infracore, société derrière la marque DEVELON, vient de dévoiler officiellement son nouveau moteur générateur DX15. Ce modèle, cinquième de la série DX Electronic Generator Engine, marque une étape importante dans le développement d’une gamme complète alliant puissance, efficacité et respect de l’environnement.

Une puissance concentrée dans un design compact

Doté d’une configuration V8 de 15,1 litres, le DX15 délivre une puissance impressionnante allant de 457 à 662 kWm, tout en respectant les normes d’émissions EPA Tier 2 et Tier 3. À performances égales, il offre 16 % de puissance supplémentaire par rapport aux moteurs mécaniques de sa catégorie.

Grâce à une technologie de combustion haute efficacité et à son système d’injection de carburant électronique, le DX15 garantit une performance stable, une fiabilité accrue et une densité de puissance exceptionnelle, même lors de longues périodes d’utilisation continue.

Une motorisation pensée pour l’avenir

Engagé dans la transition énergétique, HD Hyundai Infracore a conçu le DX15 pour être compatible avec les carburants alternatifs tels que le HVO (huile végétale hydrotraitée) et le GTL (Gas-to-Liquid). Autre atout : le moteur peut fonctionner jusqu’à 500 heures sans appoint d’huile, réduisant ainsi les coûts de maintenance et maximisant la disponibilité.

Une gamme complète jusqu’à 1 MW

L’entreprise prévoit d’élargir encore sa gamme vers des moteurs de plus d’1 MW, affirmant sa volonté de devenir un leader mondial sur le marché des moteurs générateurs.

Déjà décliné en version marine

En mars dernier, HD Hyundai Infracore avait déjà lancé la version marine du DX15, basée sur la même plateforme. Celle-ci développe 551 à 870 chevaux, tout en respectant les réglementations IMO Tier 2, Tier 3 et EPA Tier 3. Une preuve supplémentaire de la compétitivité technologique du groupe, aussi bien sur terre qu’en mer.

This model, the fifth in the DX Electronic Generator Engine series, marks a significant milestone in the development of a comprehensive lineup combining power, efficiency, and environmental friendliness.

Power Concentrated in a Compact Design

Featuring a 15.1-liter V8 configuration, the DX15 delivers impressive power ranging from 457 to 662 kWm, while meeting EPA Tier 2 and Tier 3 emission standards. With comparable performance, it offers 16% more power than mechanical engines in its class.

Thanks to high-efficiency combustion technology and its electronic fuel injection system, the DX15 ensures stable performance, increased reliability, and exceptional power density, even during long periods of continuous use.

A powertrain designed for the future

Committed to the energy transition, HD Hyundai Infracore designed the DX15 to be compatible with alternative fuels such as HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) and GTL (gas-to-liquid). Another advantage: the engine can operate for up to 500 hours without oil topping up, thus reducing maintenance costs and maximizing uptime.

A complete range up to 1 MW

Already available in a marine version

Last March, HD Hyundai Infracore launched the marine version of the DX15, based on the same platform. It develops 551 to 870 horsepower, while complying with IMO Tier 2, Tier 3, and EPA Tier 3 regulations. This further demonstrates the group's technological competitiveness, both on land and at sea.
