Simformotion lance un nouveau programme de formation Cat Simulators Next Gen dédié aux réseaux enterrés. Grâce à quatre exercices immersifs, les futurs conducteurs de pelles hydrauliques apprennent à intervenir avec précision à proximité des canalisations d’eau, de gaz et des lignes électriques, sans exposer les infrastructures ni les personnes aux risques du chantier.

La sécurité commence avant le premier coup de godet

Une canalisation dissimulée, une conduite de gaz ou un câble électrique peuvent transformer une excavation ordinaire en opération à haut risque. Pour préparer les opérateurs à ces situations délicates, Simformotion enrichit sa gamme avec le programme Next Gen Excavator Underground Utilities, développé autour de scénarios virtuels réalistes.

Quatre exercices permettent de s’entraîner à dégager une conduite d’eau endommagée, prolonger un branchement, exposer des réseaux de gaz et d’eau superposés, ou accéder à une ligne électrique en évitant les autres infrastructures enterrées.

L’objectif est de développer les bons réflexes, la maîtrise du godet et le contrôle de la profondeur, tout en renforçant la vigilance face aux réseaux sensibles.

Une formation immersive et mesurable

Les simulateurs reproduisent les commandes authentiques des machines Caterpillar et intègrent une formation à l’inspection visuelle avant utilisation. Un logiciel enregistre les sessions, analyse les performances et les compare aux références de Caterpillar. Les exercices sont disponibles en plusieurs langues.

Le programme peut également être associé à SimScholars, une formation numérique complémentaire comprenant des guides pédagogiques, des vidéos, des questionnaires et des supports pour les formateurs et les apprenants.

Écoles, centres de formation et entreprises peuvent ainsi combiner simulation et apprentissage théorique, sans immobiliser des machines coûteuses ni dépendre des conditions météorologiques.

Simformotion is launching a new Cat Simulators Next Gen training program dedicated to underground utilities. Through four immersive exercises, future hydraulic excavator operators learn to work precisely near water and gas pipelines and power lines, without exposing infrastructure or personnel to site hazards.

Safety begins before the first scoop

A hidden pipeline, gas line, or power cable can transform a routine excavation into a high-risk operation. To prepare operators for these challenging situations, Simformotion is expanding its product range with the Next Gen Excavator Underground Utilities program, developed around realistic virtual scenarios.

Four exercises allow users to practice clearing a damaged water pipe, extending a service connection, exposing overlapping gas and water lines, or accessing a power line while avoiding other buried infrastructure.

The goal is to develop good reflexes, bucket control, and depth control, while also increasing awareness of critical infrastructure.

Immersive and measurable training

The simulators replicate the authentic controls of Caterpillar machines and include training in pre-use visual inspections. Software records sessions, analyzes performance, and compares it to Caterpillar benchmarks. Exercises are available in multiple languages.

The program can also be combined with SimScholars, a complementary digital training program that includes teaching guides, videos, quizzes, and resources for instructors and learners.

Schools, training centers, and companies can thus combine simulation and theoretical learning without downtime for expensive machines or being dependent on weather conditions.

Simformotion introduceert een nieuw trainingsprogramma, Cat Simulators Next Gen, speciaal ontwikkeld voor ondergrondse leidingen. Via vier realistische oefeningen leren toekomstige machinisten van hydraulische graafmachines nauwkeurig te werken in de buurt van water- en gasleidingen en elektriciteitskabels, zonder infrastructuur of personeel bloot te stellen aan gevaren op de locatie.

Veiligheid begint vóór de eerste schep

Een verborgen pijpleiding, gasleiding of elektriciteitskabel kan een routineuze graafklus veranderen in een risicovolle operatie.
