Un important terminal à conteneurs situé sur la côte ouest de la République du Congo poursuit sa montée en puissance logistique avec une nouvelle commande majeure auprès de Konecranes. L’opérateur portuaire a en effet investi dans une flotte composée de 11 chariots de manutention lourde ainsi que d’une grue portuaire mobile Konecranes Gottwald, afin d’accompagner la croissance continue des flux de conteneurs en Afrique centrale.

La commande, enregistrée au premier trimestre 2026, sera livrée au cours du second semestre de l’année.

Une flotte pensée pour la performance portuaire

Le contrat comprend :

cinq reach stackers Konecranes Liftace 4532 TCE5 ;
six manipulateurs de conteneurs vides Liftace E 6/7 ECC9 ;
une grue portuaire mobile Konecranes Gottwald ESP.7.

Ces nouveaux équipements viennent compléter une flotte déjà déployée entre 2021 et 2025 sur le terminal, consolidant ainsi la stratégie de modernisation et d’augmentation des capacités opérationnelles du site.

Les reach stackers Liftace 4532 TCE5 ont été conçus pour optimiser les mouvements de conteneurs dans les zones de stockage, tandis que les manipulateurs ECC9 assurent des opérations rapides et sécurisées pour l’empilage et le repositionnement des conteneurs vides.

Sécurité, ergonomie et productivité au cœur du projet

Au-delà des performances de manutention, Konecranes met également l’accent sur les conditions de travail des opérateurs. Les nouveaux équipements intègrent des standards élevés en matière :

Une équipe technique dédiée restera présente sur site pendant huit mois afin d’accompagner :

la maintenance initiale ;
le support technique et opérationnel.

A major container terminal on the west coast of the Republic of Congo continues its logistical expansion with a significant new order from Konecranes. The port operator has invested in a fleet of 11 heavy-duty forklifts and a Konecranes Gottwald mobile port crane to support the continued growth of container traffic in Central Africa.

The order, placed in the first quarter of 2026, will be delivered in the second half of the year.

A Fleet Designed for Port Performance

The contract includes:

five Konecranes Liftace 4532 TCE5 reach stackers;

six Liftace E 6/7 ECC9 empty container handlers;

one Konecranes Gottwald ESP.7 mobile port crane.

This new equipment complements a fleet already deployed at the terminal between 2021 and 2025, thus reinforcing the strategy to modernize and increase the site's operational capacity.

The Liftace 4532 TCE5 reach stackers were designed to optimize container movements in storage areas, while the ECC9 manipulators ensure fast and safe operations for stacking and repositioning empty containers.

Safety, ergonomics, and productivity at the heart of the project

Beyond handling performance, Konecranes also emphasizes the working conditions of operators. The new equipment incorporates high standards in terms of:

cab ergonomics;

A dedicated technical team will remain on-site for eight months to support:

equipment commissioning;
