Gehl développe son réseau de concessionnaires en Amérique latine

Le groupe Manitou étend son réseau de concessionnaires Gehl en Amérique latine avec un nouveau partenariat en Colombie.

Le réseau actuel de Gehl compte environ 250 concessionnaires répartis dans 65 pays. La marque propose une gamme de chariots télescopiques, de chargeuses compactes, de chargeuses articulées et de chargeuses-pelleteuses pour les secteurs de la construction et de l'agriculture.

Des acquisitions stratégiques, notamment en Inde en 2016, et des investissements récents dans ses deux sites de production aux États-Unis ont permis d'accroître les capacités de production de ces gammes de produits. Gehl connaît actuellement une expansion significative en Amérique latine, marquée par l'ajout de six nouveaux concessionnaires au Brésil, au Mexique et au Panama, dont l'exploitation a débuté en 2024.

Plus récemment, le réseau s'est renforcé avec l'arrivée de deux nouveaux distributeurs à Lima, au Pérou, et désormais en Colombie, via le distributeur Chaneme. Acteur majeur du secteur de la construction en Colombie, Chaneme couvrira également quatre sites de vente basés à Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla et Bogota.

Marcelo Bracco, Directeur Général Amérique Latine du Groupe Manitou, a déclaré : « Notre engagement envers nos clients en Amérique Latine est une priorité absolue. Nous sommes particulièrement enthousiastes à l'idée de lancer des produits conformes à la norme Stage V en Colombie, notamment nos chargeuses compactes et nos chargeuses-pelleteuses, afin de répondre aux besoins spécifiques de ce marché en plein essor. »

La croissance de la marque se poursuivra dans les prochains mois avec l'intégration de nouveaux distributeurs dans d'autres zones géographiques, a ajouté l'entreprise.

Gehl grows Latin America dealers network

Manitou Group is expanding its Gehl dealership network in Latin America with its latest partnership in Colombia. 

Gehl’s exisiting network comprises approximately 250 dealerships across 65 countries, with the brand offering a range of telehandlers, skid loaders, articulated loaders, and backhoe loaders for the construction and agricultural sectors.

Strategic acquisitions, notably in India in 2016, and recent investments in its two US-based production sites have grown the manufacturing capacities for these product lines. Now, in Latin America, Gehl is experiencing significant expansion, marked by the addition of six new dealerships in Brazil, Mexico, and Panama, which commenced operations in 2024.

More recently, the network has been further strengthened with two new distributors in Lima, Peru, and now in Colombia through the distributor Chaneme. As a major player in Colombia’s construction sector, Chaneme will also cover four sales locations based in Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, and Bogota.

Gehl breidt dealernetwerk in Latijns-Amerika uit

Manitou Group breidt zijn Gehl-dealernetwerk in Latijns-Amerika uit met zijn nieuwste partnerschap in Colombia.

Het bestaande netwerk van Gehl bestaat uit ongeveer 250 dealers in 65 landen. Het merk biedt een scala aan verreikers, skidloaders, knikladers en graaflaadmachines voor de bouw- en landbouwsector.

Strategische overnames, met name in India in 2016, en recente investeringen in de twee Amerikaanse productielocaties hebben de productiecapaciteit voor deze productlijnen vergroot. In Latijns-Amerika maakt Gehl nu een aanzienlijke uitbreiding door, gekenmerkt door de toevoeging van zes nieuwe dealers in Brazilië, Mexico en Panama, die in 2024 van start gingen.

Recentelijk is het netwerk verder versterkt met twee nieuwe distributeurs in Lima, Peru, en nu ook in Colombia via distributeur Chaneme. Als belangrijke speler in de Colombiaanse bouwsector zal Chaneme ook vier verkooppunten bedienen, gevestigd in Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla en Bogota.
