Le spécialiste mondial de l’accès en hauteur JLG ouvre un nouveau chapitre dans le domaine du low-level access avec le lancement de son LiftPod, une innovation qui inaugure une catégorie inédite d’équipements : le Quick Fold Lift.

Fruit de plusieurs années de recherche et de collaboration avec le cabinet de design britannique DCA, le LiftPod est né d’une réflexion approfondie sur la santé et le bien-être des employés, ainsi que sur la prévention des risques liés aux travaux en hauteur dans les environnements intérieurs.

Deux versions sont déjà disponibles — le LiftPod 1.2 et le LiftPod 1.5 — tandis qu’un modèle plus haut, le LiftPod 1.8, est prévu pour 2026.

Conçu et fabriqué au Royaume-Uni, le LiftPod se distingue par son mécanisme de levage autoalimenté breveté et sa plateforme entièrement ajustable, capable de supporter jusqu’à 150 kg. Compact, avec une emprise au sol inférieure à un mètre carré, il s’intègre aisément dans les espaces restreints — un atout majeur pour les travaux de maintenance en bâtiments publics, bureaux, commerces, hôpitaux ou hôtels. Une plateau porte-outils intégré vient compléter sa polyvalence.

Mais c’est son système de pliage unique qui fait du LiftPod une véritable innovation. Léger, rapide à déployer et à ranger, il offre une mobilité sans effort entre la zone de stockage et le lieu d’intervention, tout en minimisant les manipulations manuelles.

JLG a collaboré avec le Dr Frank Emrich, spécialiste en ergonomie numérique et biomécanique du travail, pour évaluer scientifiquement les contraintes physiques subies par les professionnels du facility management.
Les résultats ont guidé la conception du LiftPod, afin de limiter les flexions du tronc, les compressions discales et les efforts de soulèvement, rendant le travail en hauteur plus sûr et plus confortable que jamais.

Global height access specialist JLG is opening a new chapter in low-level access with the launch of its LiftPod, an innovation that ushers in a new category of equipment: the Quick Fold Lift.

The result of several years of research and collaboration with British design firm DCA, the LiftPod is the result of in-depth consideration of employee health and well-being, as well as the prevention of risks associated with working at height in indoor environments.

Two versions are already available—the LiftPod 1.2 and the LiftPod 1.5—while a taller model, the LiftPod 1.8, is planned for 2026.

An integrated tool tray completes its versatility.

A design focused on operator safety and health

Beyond its technical performance, the LiftPod has been designed to reduce the risk of injury and fatigue. JLG collaborated with Dr. Frank Emrich, a specialist in digital ergonomics and work biomechanics, to scientifically assess the physical stresses experienced by facility management professionals.
The results guided the design of the LiftPod, which reduces trunk flexion, disc compression, and lifting efforts, making working at height safer and more comfortable than ever before.

Wereldwijd specialist in hoogtetoegang JLG opent een nieuw hoofdstuk in laagbouwtoegang met de lancering van de LiftPod, een innovatie die een nieuwe categorie apparatuur inluidt: de Quick Fold Lift.

De LiftPod is het resultaat van jarenlang onderzoek en samenwerking met het Britse designbureau DCA en is het resultaat van diepgaande aandacht voor de gezondheid en het welzijn van werknemers, evenals het voorkomen van risico's die gepaard gaan met werken op hoogte in binnenruimtes.
