Le groupe Kiloutou poursuit résolument sa stratégie de croissance en Europe et signe une nouvelle étape majeure de son développement en Espagne. Le loueur français vient d’annoncer l’acquisition de la société espagnole Mavyal, ainsi que de sa filiale Suministros Zelai, confirmant ainsi son ambition de bâtir un réseau national solide et performant sur le marché ibérique.

Il s’agit de la quatrième acquisition réalisée par Kiloutou en Espagne en un peu plus d’un an. Cette opération stratégique permet au groupe d’intégrer six nouvelles agences réparties dans des régions à fort potentiel : La Rioja, l’Aragon, la Castille-et-León et le Pays basque. Un maillage territorial renforcé qui vient consolider la présence de Kiloutou dans le nord du pays.

Mavyal, un acteur reconnu au service des grands projets

Fondée en 1987, Mavyal s’est imposée au fil des décennies comme un loueur généraliste de référence. L’entreprise s’appuie sur une équipe de 45 collaborateurs et gère un parc de plus de 3 500 matériels, couvrant un large spectre de besoins. Elle se distingue notamment par ses solutions sur mesure pour les grands projets d’échafaudage, complétées par une offre étendue de consommables.

La transaction, validée par l’autorité espagnole de contrôle des concentrations, marque une nouvelle étape dans l’intégration de savoir-faire locaux au sein du groupe Kiloutou. Le montant de l’opération n’a toutefois pas été communiqué.

Une stratégie de croissance clairement assumée

Cette acquisition s’inscrit dans la continuité d’une dynamique soutenue. Après l’intégration de ToolQuick en octobre 2024, puis de Liftisa et Gloobal en décembre 2024, Kiloutou renforce méthodiquement sa position en Espagne. L’objectif est clair : construire un réseau généraliste à couverture nationale, capable d’offrir une gamme complète de produits et de services, aussi bien aux clients locaux qu’aux grands comptes nationaux.

Avec cette nouvelle opération, le réseau espagnol de Kiloutou compte désormais 61 agences et près de 500 collaborateurs.

Une vision européenne à long terme

« L’acquisition de Mavyal illustre parfaitement notre volonté de poursuivre notre croissance en Espagne et, plus largement, en Europe, en nous implantant dans des zones géographiques à fort potentiel. En seulement un an, nous avons su réunir des acteurs de grande qualité dont l’ADN est pleinement aligné avec celui du groupe », souligne Olivier Colleau, président du groupe Kiloutou.

De son côté, Cyril Brillouet, directeur général de Kiloutou Espagne, insiste sur l’importance de l’ancrage local :
« Nous souhaitions poursuivre notre développement dans le nord du pays aux côtés d’un acteur local solide. L’acquisition de Mavyal répond parfaitement à cette ambition. Notre objectif est d’atteindre une couverture nationale en combinant expertise locale et une large offre d’équipements généralistes et spécialisés. Je suis très heureux d’accueillir les 45 collaborateurs de Mavyal au sein de la filiale espagnole de Kiloutou. »

Cap sur 2030

À horizon 2030, Kiloutou ambitionne de réaliser près de 50 % de son chiffre d’affaires en dehors de la France. Le groupe est aujourd’hui présent dans sept pays européens — Allemagne, Danemark, Espagne, France, Italie, Pologne et Portugal — et s’appuie sur un réseau de 600 agences.

Avec l’intégration de Mavyal, Kiloutou confirme sa capacité à conjuguer croissance externe, proximité terrain et vision européenne à long terme.

The Kiloutou Group is resolutely pursuing its growth strategy in Europe and has reached a new major milestone in its development in Spain. The French rental company has just announced the acquisition of the Spanish company Mavyal, as well as its subsidiary Suministros Zelai, thus confirming its ambition to build a solid and efficient national network in the Iberian market.

This is Kiloutou's fourth acquisition in Spain in just over a year. This strategic operation allows the group to integrate six new branches located in high-potential regions: La Rioja, Aragon, Castile and León, and the Basque Country. This strengthened territorial network consolidates Kiloutou's presence in the north of the country.

Mavyal, a recognized player serving major projects

Founded in 1987, Mavyal has established itself over the decades as a leading general equipment rental company. The company relies on a team of 45 employees and manages a fleet of over 3,500 pieces of equipment, covering a wide range of needs. It is particularly distinguished by its customized solutions for large scaffolding projects, complemented by an extensive range of consumables.

The transaction, approved by the Spanish Competition Authority, marks a new step in the integration of local expertise within the Kiloutou Group. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.

A clearly defined growth strategy

This acquisition is part of a sustained growth strategy. Following the integration of ToolQuick in October 2024, and then Liftisa and Gloobal in December 2024, Kiloutou is methodically strengthening its position in Spain. The objective is clear: to build a generalist network with nationwide coverage, capable of offering a full range of products and services to both local customers and major national accounts.

With this latest acquisition, Kiloutou's Spanish network now comprises 61 branches and nearly 500 employees.

A long-term European vision

Looking ahead to 2030
