L’événement alimentera les débats du secteur sur des sujets tels que la numérisation, la durabilité environnementale, l’innovation, la décarbonation, les procédés de construction neutres en carbone, la formation professionnelle et la sécurité.

Le compte à rebours pour SaMoTer, le salon international triennal des machines de construction, a enfin commencé : l’événement sera de retour à Vérone du 6 au 9 mai 2026 pour sa 32e édition. Six halls seront réservés aux exposants, ainsi que trois espaces extérieurs. Douze mois après l’événement, Veronafiere travaille déjà intensément à la création d’un salon toujours plus interactif, dynamique et innovant, avec une participation importante de fabricants leaders.

Seul salon professionnel en Italie entièrement dédié à l'ensemble de la gamme d'engins de chantier, SaMoTer (organisé par Veronafiere en partenariat avec l'UNACEA et le CECE) confirme son statut de plateforme stratégique pour l'ensemble de la chaîne d'approvisionnement : du terrassement au levage, en passant par la démolition, le forage et le concassage, des carrières aux engins de chantier, du béton au secteur routier, en passant par les équipements, les composants moteurs et les pièces détachées, la logistique, les services et les TIC.

Le 32e salon est donc une vitrine importante et un rendez-vous incontournable pour tous les professionnels du secteur, le secteur de la construction étant au cœur de l'économie italienne et l'un des piliers de son PIB. SaMoTer est ainsi un lieu de rencontre et d'échanges qui promeut et soutient les entreprises, en fournissant des informations et des pistes de réflexion pour analyser plus clairement le contexte actuel et les perspectives d'avenir. L'UNACEA (Union italienne des machines de construction) prévoit que 2025 sera une année de transition pour le secteur des machines de construction. Après un recul de 8,9 % en 2024, cette année connaîtra une baisse plus modérée des ventes, estimée à environ 3,3 %. Il est donc important de souligner que, malgré une baisse physiologique de la demande, le secteur maintiendra néanmoins des niveaux de ventes élevés, soutenus par les investissements publics et le besoin continu de nouvelles infrastructures. Le chiffre d'affaires total de l'industrie et du commerce des machines de construction en Italie en 2024 s'est élevé à 6,1 milliards d'euros, avec environ 85 000 salariés. La production italienne représente 3,9 milliards d'euros, dont 3,2 milliards sont exportés vers le monde entier. La balance commerciale est positive d'environ un milliard d'euros.

Le salon s'inscrit dans le cycle des salons internationaux partenaires de la CECE (Fédération européenne des fabricants d'engins de terrassement et de construction). Il mettra en lumière la révolution Industrie 4.0 qui bouleverse actuellement le secteur des engins de terrassement et de construction, en se concentrant sur des sujets stratégiques liés à la transition écologique et à la durabilité des machines, à la numérisation et à l'intelligence artificielle, à l'automatisation des chantiers et aux nouvelles solutions pour les infrastructures routières, sans oublier des questions clés telles que la sécurité, la formation et la location. The countdown for SaMoTer, the triennial International Construction Machinery Exhibition has at last begun: the event will return to Verona 6-9 May 2026 for the 32nd edition. Six show halls will be to exhibitors, alongside three outdoor areas. Twelve months from the event, Veronafiere is already working intensely to build an increasingly interactive, dynamic and innovation-oriented show, with new and important attendance by leading manufacturers.

Inasmuch, SaMoTer is a venue for meetings and discussion that promotes and supports business, providing information and food for thought to analyse the current context and forecasts for the future more clearly. UNACEA (the Italian Construction Machinery Union) expects 2025 to be a transition year for the construction machinery sector. After a setback of 8.9% in 2024, this year will see a more moderate decline in sales, estimated at around 3.3%. This explains why it can be emphasized that, despite physiological reduction in demand, the sector will nevertheless maintain high levels of sales, supported by public investments and the continued need for new infrastructures.​ Total turnover in the construction machinery industry and trade in Italy in 2024 came to 6.1 billion euros, with around 85,000 employees. Italian production is worth 3.9 billion euros of which 3.2 exported to countries all over the world. The balance of trade is about one billion euros in the black.

At the end of the course, the SaMoTer Academy will award titles as qualified Construction Machinery Repair Technician or Qualified Construction Machinery Operator.
