OCS et Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture (SCS JV) ont développé MudCam, un système révolutionnaire de surveillance, de détection et d'alerte qui surveille en permanence les zones d'accumulation de boue.

MudCam répond aux préoccupations législatives et de sécurité pour les chantiers de construction et atténue les risques de plusieurs millions de livres de fermetures de sites. Il améliore la sécurité des salariés sur site et contribue à renforcer les relations avec les collectivités locales en évitant les accumulations potentiellement inesthétiques et dangereuses.

Il peut être utilisé dans un certain nombre d'emplacements stratégiques sur les voies publiques, tels que les voies de circulation prédéterminées sur les chantiers de construction, où la sensibilisation à l'accumulation de boue serait avantageuse pour permettre une surveillance, une action et une réponse appropriées.

MudCam a récemment été sélectionné comme finaliste dans la catégorie très disputée « Innovation technologique de l'année » dans le cadre des London Construction Awards (LCA) 2023. Le LCA célèbre les réalisations, les développements et les innovations majeurs dans l'industrie de la construction au Royaume-Uni et fait partie de London Build , le principal salon de la construction et du design au Royaume-Uni. La cérémonie aura lieu à Londres le 22 septembre.

OCS and Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture (SCS JV) have developed MudCam, a revolutionary monitoring, detection and alerting system that continuously monitors areas of mud build-up.

MudCam addresses legislative and safety concerns for construction sites and mitigates the multi-million-pound risks of site shutdowns. It improves safety for the on-site employees and helps to strengthen relations with local communities by preventing potentially unsightly and dangerous build-ups.

It can be used in a number of strategic locations on public highways such as pre-determined construction site traffic routes where awareness of the build-up of mud would be advantageous to enable appropriate monitoring, action and response.

MudCam was recently shortlisted as a finalist in the highly contested category, ‘Technological Innovation of the Year’ in the London Construction Awards (LCA) 2023.  The LCA celebrate major achievements, developments and innovations across the UK’s construction industry and is part of London Build, the UK’s leading construction and design show.  The ceremony will take place in London on 22nd September.

OCS en Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture (SCS JV) hebben MudCam ontwikkeld, een revolutionair monitoring-, detectie- en waarschuwingssysteem dat continu gebieden met modderophoping bewaakt.

MudCam pakt wettelijke en veiligheidsproblemen voor bouwplaatsen aan en vermindert de risico's van meerdere miljoenen ponden van sluitingen van sites. Het verbetert de veiligheid voor de werknemers op locatie en helpt de relaties met lokale gemeenschappen te versterken door mogelijk lelijke en gevaarlijke opeenhopingen te voorkomen.

Het kan worden gebruikt op een aantal strategische locaties op openbare snelwegen, zoals vooraf bepaalde verkeersroutes op bouwplaatsen, waar bewustzijn van de opeenhoping van modder voordelig zou zijn om passende monitoring, actie en reactie mogelijk te maken.
