Sandvik a signé un accord pour acquérir Polymathian Industrial Mathematics (« Polymathian »), un fournisseur australien de logiciels et de services avancés d'optimisation minière.
L'offre de produits de Polymathian comprend des logiciels d'optimisation et de simulation des opérations minières pour des domaines tels que le processus d'extraction, le flux de matériaux, la consommation d'énergie et de carburant et l'efficacité de la maintenance.
Polymathian fera partie de l'unité commerciale Deswik et restera indépendant des OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Sandvik affirme que l'acquisition leur permettra d'accélérer encore le développement de ses offres d'optimisation de bout en bout, BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) et AutoMine.

Sandvik to acquire mine optimisation software provider

Sandvik has signed an agreement to acquire Polymathian Industrial Mathematics (“Polymathian”), an Australia-based provider of advanced mine optimization software and services.
Polymathian’s product offering includes mining operations optimisation and simulation software for areas such as extraction process, material flow, energy and fuel consumption, and maintenance efficiency.
Polymathian will be a part of Business Unit Deswik and remain OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agnostic. Sandvik says that the acquisition will enable them to further accelerate the development of its end-to-end optimisation, BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle), and AutoMine offerings.
“With the acquisition of Polymathian we continue to broaden our offering to enhance productivity in our mining customers’ value chain. Polymathian’s automated decision-making and process optimisation, together with Deswik’s software tools for planning and managing production, represent a unique combination in the market,” says Stefan Widing, President and CEO of Sandvik.

Sandvik heeft een overeenkomst getekend voor de overname van Polymathian Industrial Mathematics ("Polymathian"), een in Australië gevestigde leverancier van geavanceerde mijnoptimalisatiesoftware en -diensten.
Het productaanbod van Polymathian omvat optimalisatie van mijnbouwactiviteiten en simulatiesoftware voor gebieden zoals extractieproces, materiaalstroom, energie- en brandstofverbruik en onderhoudsefficiëntie.
Polymathian zal deel uitmaken van Business Unit Deswik en OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agnostisch blijven. Sandvik zegt dat de overname hen in staat zal stellen om de ontwikkeling van hun end-to-end optimalisatie, BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) en AutoMine-aanbod verder te versnellen.
