Poursuivant sa quête d’efficacité et de sécurité dans le secteur de la démolition, Steelwrist élargit sa gamme de coupleurs automatiques avec le nouveau SQ40, conçu pour les mini-pelles de 2 à 7 tonnes. Présenté en avant-première au Bauma 2025, ce modèle transpose la technologie SQ — qui permet de connecter hydraulique et électricité en un seul mouvement — au segment des compactes, jusque-là réservé aux grands engins.

Grâce à son débit hydraulique optimisé (70 l/min) et à son connecteur électrique H6 étanche et ultra-résistant, le SQ40 assure des changements d’outils rapides et sûrs, directement depuis la cabine. Une innovation qui transforme le quotidien des opérateurs : plus besoin de descendre de la machine pour passer d’un godet à un marteau hydraulique.

Compatible avec le standard symétrique S40, le SQ40 s’intègre facilement aux outils existants, sans modification coûteuse. Sa conception modulaire permet aussi de passer simplement du système S classique au SQ automatique.

« Après deux ans d’utilisation du SQ40 sur ma propre pelle, je ne reviendrais jamais en arrière », confie Stefan Stockhaus, PDG de Steelwrist. « Ce système apporte la même efficacité que les grands modèles SQ, mais sur des machines compactes. »

Continuing its pursuit of efficiency and safety in the demolition sector, Steelwrist is expanding its range of automatic couplers with the new SQ40, designed for 2- to 7-tonne mini-excavators. Previewed at Bauma 2025, this model brings SQ technology—which allows for the connection of hydraulics and electricity in a single movement—to the compact equipment segment, previously reserved for larger machines.

Thanks to its optimized hydraulic flow (70 l/min) and its waterproof and ultra-resistant H6 electrical connector, the SQ40 ensures fast and safe tool changes, directly from the cab. This innovation transforms the daily work of operators: no more need to get out of the machine to switch from a bucket to a hydraulic hammer.

Compatible with the S40 symmetrical standard, the SQ40 integrates easily with existing tools without costly modifications. Its modular design also allows for a simple transition from the classic S system to the automatic SQ system.

“After two years of using the SQ40 on my own excavator, I would never go back,” says Stefan Stockhaus, CEO of Steelwrist. “This system provides the same efficiency as the larger SQ models, but on compact machines.”

Steelwrist blijft streven naar efficiëntie en veiligheid in de sloopsector en breidt zijn assortiment automatische koppelingen uit met de nieuwe SQ40, ontworpen voor minigraafmachines van 2 tot 7 ton. Dit model, dat werd gepresenteerd op de Bauma 2025, introduceert SQ-technologie – die hydraulische en elektrische aansluitingen in één beweging mogelijk maakt – in het segment van compacte graafmachines, waar voorheen alleen grotere machines konden worden gebruikt.
