The STIHL AP 500 S with twice the number of allowed charging cycles
With the STIHL AP 500 S battery, STIHL is introducing a new type of energy storage unit. Thanks to its innovative technology, this battery impresses not only with its high energy density and comparatively low weight, but above all with twice the number of allowed charging cycles (up to 2,500) and thus a significant increase in service life compared to conventional Li-ion batteries. For the new battery pack from the STIHL AP cordless system designed for professional users, this means a high available battery energy of 337 watt hours at a weight of only 2 kilograms. This means that this battery pack offers 20 percent more capacity and operating time with all tools of the STIHL AP cordless system compared to a STIHL AP 300 S battery. At the same time, the new technology ensures a service life of up to ten years when charged every working day, thus reducing costs for the user. The AP 500 S battery can also be integrated directly into the STIHL connected digital fleet management system and managed via this system. This offers commercial users, for example, a detailed overview of all relevant data, such as the current charge status, daily operating time or age. The respective information can be accessed and analyzed at the place of action via smartphone or tablet.

De STIHL AP 500 S met het dubbele aantal toegestane laadcycli
Met de STIHL AP 500 S accu introduceert STIHL een nieuw type energieopslag. Dankzij zijn innovatieve technologie overtuigt deze batterij niet alleen met zijn hoge energiedichtheid en relatief laag gewicht, maar vooral met het dubbele aantal toegestane laadcycli (tot 2.500) en daarmee een significante verlenging van de levensduur in vergelijking met conventionele Li- ion batterijen. Voor het nieuwe accupack van het STIHL AP-accusysteem voor professionele gebruikers betekent dit een hoge beschikbare accu-energie van 337 wattuur bij een gewicht van slechts 2 kilogram. Dit betekent dat dit accupack met alle gereedschappen van het STIHL AP accusysteem 20 procent meer capaciteit en bedrijfstijd biedt in vergelijking met een STIHL AP 300 S accu. Tegelijkertijd zorgt de nieuwe technologie voor een levensduur van maximaal tien jaar bij elke werkdag opladen, waardoor de kosten voor de gebruiker worden verlaagd. De accu AP 500 S kan ook direct in het STIHL connected digital fleet management systeem worden geïntegreerd en via dit systeem worden beheerd. Dit biedt zakelijke gebruikers bijvoorbeeld een gedetailleerd overzicht van alle relevante gegevens, zoals de huidige laadstatus, dagelijkse gebruiksduur of leeftijd. De betreffende informatie kan op de plaats van handeling via smartphone of tablet worden geopend en geanalyseerd.
