Une joint-venture entre le suisse Implenia et le norvégien Strangeland Maskin a remporté un projet de construction du tunnel de Boknafjord en Norvège.

Une fois terminé, le tunnel sera le tunnel sous-marin le plus long et le plus profond du monde.
Implenia se chargera de l'excavation et de la construction d'un tronçon de 8,6 km du tunnel, tandis que Strangeland Maskin entreprendra la construction d'un tronçon de 125 m de route de liaison, ainsi que le transport de tous les matériaux excavés.
Implenia a déclaré que ses activités représentaient 80 % du contrat, ce qui équivaut à une valeur d'environ 304 millions d'euros.

Le projet de tunnel plus large de Boknafjord comprend une route de 27 km de long, passant sous l'immense fjord de Boknafjorden à Rogaland, dans le centre de la Norvège.
Sous la responsabilité de l'administration norvégienne des routes publiques, le tunnel a connu un certain nombre de retards et d'augmentations de coûts, mais a une date d'achèvement actuelle de 2033 et un budget d'environ 2,55 milliards d'euros.

A joint venture between Switzerland’s Implenia and Norway’s Strangeland Maskin has been awarded a construction project on the Boknafjord tunnel in Norway.

When completed, the tunnel will be the world’s longest and deepest subsea tunnel.
Implenia will take on the excavation and construction of an 8.6km stretch of the tunnel, while Strangeland Maskin undertakes the construction of a 125m section of connecting road, as well as the transportation of all excavated material.
Implenia said its activities amount to 80% of the contract, equating to a value of approximately €304 million.

The wider Boknafjord tunnel project comprises a 27km-long roadway, running below the huge Boknafjorden fjord in Rogaland in central Norway.
The responsibility of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, the tunnel has seen a number of delays and cost rises, but has a current completion date of 2033 and a budget of approximately €2.55 billion.

Zwitserse aannemer wint groot tunnelcontract in Noorwegen

Een joint venture tussen het Zwitserse Implenia en het Noorse Strangeland Maskin heeft een bouwproject gekregen voor de Boknafjord-tunnel in Noorwegen.

Na voltooiing zal de tunnel de langste en diepste onderzeese tunnel ter wereld zijn.
Implenia zal de uitgraving en constructie van een stuk van 8,6 km van de tunnel op zich nemen, terwijl Strangeland Maskin de aanleg van een stuk verbindingsweg van 125 m voor zijn rekening neemt, evenals het transport van al het uitgegraven materiaal.
Implenia zei dat haar activiteiten 80% van het contract uitmaken, wat neerkomt op een waarde van ongeveer € 304 miljoen.

Het bredere Boknafjord-tunnelproject omvat een 27 km lange rijbaan die onder de enorme Boknafjorden-fjord in Rogaland in Midden-Noorwegen doorloopt.
De tunnel, die onder de verantwoordelijkheid valt van de Noorse overheid voor openbare wegen, heeft een aantal vertragingen en kostenstijgingen gekend, maar heeft een huidige voltooiingsdatum van 2033 en een budget van ongeveer € 2,55 miljard.
