La 36e convention internationale et exposition d'équipements anciens de l'Historical Construction Equipment Association s'est tenue au National Construction Equipment Museum de Bowling Green, Ohio, du 23 au 25 septembre 2022.
Malgré une alerte météo et des prix élevés du diesel affectant le nombre de machines importées, le salon a été un grand succès.
Plusieurs milliers de participants de partout aux États-Unis et de plusieurs autres pays ont profité d'un temps parfait vendredi et samedi. Environ 120 machines et véhicules anciens ont été importés d'aussi loin que la Nouvelle-Angleterre, la Louisiane et le Colorado, rejoignant la flotte de 185 machines du musée et des équipements modernes supplémentaires.
Le spectacle comprenait un réassemblage majeur de la décharge d'extrémité Terex 33-15 Titan d'une capacité de 170 tonnes du Musée. Les travaux ont été entièrement réalisés avec de la main-d'œuvre et du matériel prêtés. Deux entrepreneurs locaux ont fourni des services de grue et d'opérateur d'une valeur de 25 000 $.
Il a également présenté les débuts de la dragline Manitowoc 3500 récemment restaurée du musée et la première utilisation de sa nouvelle propagation de terre Cat de la fin des années 1960 - un chargeur à poussée D9G, deux grattoirs à moteur 631B et un wagon à eau 631B, tous impeccablement restaurés, donnés et transportés depuis le New Jersey. par la Fondation Collection Mahan.
De nombreuses autres machines de construction et agricoles rares et inhabituelles, des camions, des voitures, des moteurs et des véhicules militaires ont été présentés.

The Historical Construction Equipment Association's 36th annual International Convention & Old Equipment Exposition was held at the National Construction Equipment Museum in Bowling Green, Ohio, Sept. 23 to 25, 2022.
Despite a weather scare and high diesel prices affecting how many machines were brought in, the show was a great success.
Several thousand attendees from all over the United States and several other countries enjoyed perfect weather on Friday and Saturday. Approximately 120 antique machines and vehicles were brought in from as far away as New England, Louisiana and Colorado, joining the museum's fleet of 185 machines and additional modern equipment.
The show featured major reassembly of the Museum's Terex 33-15 Titan 170-ton capacity end dump. The work was done entirely with donated labor and loaned equipment. Two local contractors provided crane and operator services valued at $25,000.
It also featured the debut of the museum's newly restored Manitowoc 3500 dragline and the first use of its new late 1960s Cat dirt spread — a D9G pushloader, two 631B motor scrapers and a 631B water wagon, all immaculately restored, donated and transported from New Jersey by the Mahan Collection Foundation.
Many other rare and unusual construction and agricultural machines, trucks, cars, engines and military vehicles were shown.
The museum will again host the show in 2023, on Sept, 22 to 24.

De 36e jaarlijkse International Convention & Old Equipment Exposition van de Historical Construction Equipment Association werd gehouden in het National Construction Equipment Museum in Bowling Green, Ohio, van 23 tot 25 september 2022.
Ondanks het weer en de hoge dieselprijzen die van invloed waren op het aantal machines dat werd binnengebracht, was de show een groot succes.
Enkele duizenden aanwezigen uit de hele Verenigde Staten en verschillende andere landen genoten vrijdag en zaterdag van perfect weer.
