La route électrique entre dans une nouvelle dimension.

À Göteborg, les premières unités de la nouvelle génération de poids lourds électriques de Volvo Trucks viennent de sortir des chaînes de production. En tête de cette offensive silencieuse : le Volvo FH Aero Electric, capable de parcourir jusqu’à 700 km sur une seule charge.

Derrière cette autonomie spectaculaire se cache une nouvelle technologie e-axle, libérant davantage d’espace pour les batteries et ouvrant la voie à la recharge au mégawatt. Une combinaison qui rapproche l’électrique des missions autrefois réservées aux camions diesel : longues distances, charges élevées et exploitation intensive.

La nouvelle génération ne s’arrête pas au FH Aero. Les FH, FM et FMX Electric adoptent une chaîne de traction électrique entièrement renouvelée, avec jusqu’à 470 km d’autonomie, plaçant désormais l’électromobilité sur des terrains aussi variés que le transport régional, le long-courrier ou les applications de construction.

Produits à Göteborg et Gand, ces camions incarnent une évolution majeure : l’électrique n’est plus seulement une alternative pour la ville. Il commence à conquérir la grande route.

Présentée à l’IAA Transportation de Hanovre, cette nouvelle génération marque ainsi un tournant industriel : la technologie électrique quitte progressivement le laboratoire pour entrer dans l’ère de la production à grande échelle.

Electric road transport is entering a new dimension.

In Gothenburg, the first units of Volvo Trucks' new generation of electric heavy-duty trucks have just rolled off the production line. Leading this silent offensive is the Volvo FH Aero Electric, capable of traveling up to 700 km on a single charge.

Behind this spectacular range lies a new e-axle technology, freeing up more space for batteries and paving the way for megawatt charging. This combination brings electric vehicles closer to missions once reserved for diesel trucks: long distances, heavy loads, and intensive use.

The new generation doesn't stop with the FH Aero. The FH, FM, and FMX Electric models adopt a completely redesigned electric powertrain, with a range of up to 470 km, now positioning electromobility in fields as diverse as regional transport, long-haul, and construction applications.

Produced in Gothenburg and Ghent, these trucks embody a major evolution: electric is no longer just an alternative for the city. It is beginning to conquer the highway.

Presented at the IAA Transportation trade fair in Hanover, this new generation marks an industrial turning point: electric technology is gradually leaving the laboratory to enter the era of large-scale production.

Elektrisch wegtransport betreedt een nieuwe dimensie.

In Göteborg zijn de eerste exemplaren van Volvo Trucks' nieuwe generatie elektrische zware vrachtwagens van de productielijn gerold. De Volvo FH Aero Electric voert dit stille offensief aan en kan tot 700 km afleggen op één acculading.

Achter deze spectaculaire actieradius schuilt een nieuwe e-as-technologie, die meer ruimte creëert voor accu's en de weg vrijmaakt voor megawatt-laden. Deze combinatie brengt elektrische voertuigen dichter bij taken die voorheen waren voorbehouden aan dieselvrachtwagens: lange afstanden, zware ladingen en intensief gebruik.

De nieuwe generatie stopt niet bij de FH Aero. De FH, FM en FMX Electric modellen beschikken over een volledig opnieuw ontworpen elektrische aandrijflijn, met een actieradius tot 470 km, waarmee elektromobiliteit nu inzetbaar is in uiteenlopende sectoren zoals regionaal transport, langeafstandstransport en de bouw.

Deze trucks, geproduceerd in Göteborg en Gent, vertegenwoordigen een belangrijke evolutie: elektrisch rijden is niet langer alleen een alternatief voor de stad. Het begint de snelweg te veroveren.

Deze nieuwe generatie, gepresenteerd op de IAA Transportation-beurs in Hannover, markeert een industrieel keerpunt: elektrische technologie verlaat geleidelijk het laboratorium en betreedt het tijdperk van grootschalige productie.
