Sous les 12 kilomètres du tunnel du Mont Blanc, où transitent près de deux millions de véhicules par an, chaque intervention est une véritable course contre la montre. Pour moderniser cet axe stratégique reliant la France et l'Italie, l'entreprise Cogeis SpA a misé sur deux finisseurs sur pneus Vögele – le SUPER 1803-5 X et le SUPER 1303-3i – capables d'allier puissance, précision et mobilité dans un environnement parmi les plus exigeants d'Europe.

Véritable pièce maîtresse du chantier, le SUPER 1803-5 X affiche une capacité de pose pouvant atteindre 700 t/h. Grâce à son système Pivot Steer, il évolue avec une remarquable agilité dans les espaces confinés, permettant le revêtement des deux voies en une seule passe, tandis que le SUPER 1303-3i prend en charge les zones d'arrêt d'urgence.

Les technologies Dash 5 apportent une nouvelle dimension opérationnelle avec le Paver Access Control, l'éclairage LED intégré et une automatisation qui accélèrent les opérations nocturnes tout en renforçant la sécurité. Associé au pack EcoPlus, le finisseur réduit sensiblement la consommation de carburant, les émissions et les nuisances sonores, des critères essentiels dans un tunnel fermé.

Under the 12 kilometers of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, through which nearly two million vehicles pass each year, every operation is a race against time. To modernize this strategic route linking France and Italy, Cogeis SpA opted for two Vögele rubber-tired pavers – the SUPER 1803-5 X and the SUPER 1303-3i – capable of combining power, precision, and mobility in one of Europe's most demanding environments.

A true centerpiece of the project, the SUPER 1803-5 X boasts a paving capacity of up to 700 t/h. Thanks to its Pivot Steer system, it maneuvers with remarkable agility in confined spaces, allowing both lanes to be paved in a single pass, while the SUPER 1303-3i handles the emergency stopping zones.

Dash 5 technologies bring a new operational dimension with Paver Access Control, integrated LED lighting, and automation that accelerate nighttime operations while enhancing safety. Combined with the EcoPlus package, the paver significantly reduces fuel consumption, emissions, and noise—essential criteria in an enclosed tunnel.

Onder de 12 kilometer lange Mont Blanctunnel, waar jaarlijks bijna twee miljoen voertuigen passeren, is elke operatie een race tegen de klok. Om deze strategische route tussen Frankrijk en Italië te moderniseren, koos Cogeis SpA voor twee Vögele-asfaltmachines op rubberbanden – de SUPER 1803-5 X en de SUPER 1303-3i – die kracht, precisie en mobiliteit combineren in een van de meest veeleisende omgevingen van Europa.

De SUPER 1803-5 X, een waar pronkstuk van het project, heeft een asfalteercapaciteit van maximaal 700 ton per uur. Dankzij het Pivot Steer-systeem manoeuvreert de machine met opmerkelijke wendbaarheid in krappe ruimtes, waardoor beide rijstroken in één keer geasfalteerd kunnen worden. De SUPER 1303-3i is verantwoordelijk voor de noodstopzones.

Dash 5-technologieën brengen een nieuwe operationele dimensie met toegangscontrole voor de asfalteermachine, geïntegreerde ledverlichting en automatisering die nachtelijke werkzaamheden versnellen en de veiligheid verhogen. In combinatie met het EcoPlus-pakket reduceert de asfalteermachine het brandstofverbruik, de emissies en het geluid aanzienlijk – essentiële criteria in een gesloten tunnel.
